Am keen on learning how ministry and ministers work. Beyond the titles how is the structure of a ministry? Who makes the decision, who is the boss? Example if you are heading Ministry of ICT and you have no background knowledge on the same, how do you navigate to lead the staff below you. Btw Whats the difference between state minister and cabinet minister? Av seen people say a ministers role is just administrative, so does that mean their role is minor? Must be hectic in the first year but exciting if you love to learn and are appointed. Anyone to educate the nation…… Thank you

Internal Affairs was officially handed over to Rwanda. It started with NIRA opening up a branch in Rwanda. Now the guy who was once arrested for spying Uganda for Rwanda is fully in charge of the Internal affairs . This means the Rwandese will be getting Ugandan IDs and passports unrestricted

One of those Ministers who would step onto the floor of Parliament and you instantly knew a gentleman was about to speak was Gen. David Muhoozi. Calm, articulate, intelligent, and never unnecessarily dramatic. Honestly, dropping such a sober and effective Minister is painful, ela wanno sabategedde! My heart is bleeding banange. Uganda has truly lost one of its finest at the Cabinet table. Will dearly miss him. #cabinetreshuffle

Hon Alioni Yorke a strongman from Yumbe that resisted corruption in parliament with Ssekikubo has been appointed to the corruption table as a minister. He once punched a policeman in 2021 when the cop tried to manipulate E. Africa parliamentary elections. May his soul rest in peace.

Ministers are overseers of any ministry thats why anyone can be put in anything even if they are not experts in it so long as they have management experience. In Ugandas case most of the ministers dont make any decisions but rather follow the presidents orders, the only decision they make is quickly arresting people who offend them- tl
