@GarySchlager @nypost Um, no they won’t be. They have a fairly accurate modeling system that can predict the attendance well in advance.

@nypost All these shows will be sold out day of. Artists still don’t get people wait till the day before of day of to buy tickets to get discounts because they know 50% of first day tickets get sold to brokers who will have to sell them or eat them. It’s been happening for easily a year

@RichyPeterson13 @GovMikeDeWine Mikes a Bengals season ticket holder. He wanted to make sure the Browns don’t leave again so we aren’t the worst team in the division.

In Ohio, we love our sports teams. The new stadium project for the Cleveland Browns isn’t just about football but will also attract world-class entertainment and events.

Public schools saved my life while growing up in Youngstown, and I know just how hard our teachers are working to make an impact on students’ lives. I had a blast getting out the early vote with members of the Ohio Federation of Teachers in Cincinnati last night!

@LilGlasses509 @Schultz_Report @LandonRobinson You win a ring? Or were you sitting on your fat ass acting like you had something to do with it? There’s a reason the Colts left there, and all your shit town could go was take the fucking Browns.

Knowing that Navy DT Landon Robinson’s dad is a #Bengals fan, to see him get drafted by the Bengals — and the emotion afterward — is really wholesome. The “Who Dey” chant afterward is great too. (🎥 @LandonRobinson)

Meant to be! New #Bengals DT Landon Robinson, who grew up in Ohio: “My dad always watched the Bengals. He was a big Bengals fan. So it’d be really cool to play for them.”

A Bengals trade for Dexter Lawrence is unprecedented: This is the first time in the common draft era that dates back to 1966 in which the Bengals ever have traded a Top-10 pick for a player, per ESPN research.

To sum up this disgusting and misleading hit piece on Acton for those who won't actually read the article: suburban mom has 1 drink and gets in a verbal disagreement with her husband. Wow
Ken Blackwell@kenblackwell

🚨 BREAKING: NBC News exposed top Ohio Democrat who shattered a mirror during a domestic dispute, admitted to drinking and taking extensive prescription drugs… and was stopped from driving by her concerned husband!🚨 This is not a rumor, not opposition research, and not something pulled out of thin air in the middle of a campaign. This is reporting from NBC News, backed by a police report that lays out exactly what happened inside Amy Acton’s home in August of 2019. During an argument with her husband, she pulled a mirror off the wall and shattered it. When officers arrived, she told them she had been drinking and had taken an unknown amount of prescription medication, and she was about to get in her car and drive before her husband physically intervened and stopped her. Police and a medic responded to the scene, a hospital visit was recommended, and she refused. Officers ultimately determined there was no physical violence between the couple and filed no charges, but the details themselves are not ambiguous, they are written down, documented, and now part of the public record. That is the starting point, not the spin. Now consider who this is. Amy Acton was not a background figure during COVID. She was the face of Ohio’s response, standing beside Mike DeWine day after day as decisions were made that reached into nearly every aspect of daily life. Businesses were closed by order. Gatherings were restricted. Families were told how to interact, when to separate, and in many cases when not to be together at all. People were told not to visit elderly parents and grandparents, even when time was running out. Families were pushed into stripped-down funerals, distanced goodbyes, and moments that can never be gotten back. And the culture that followed those policies did not stop at guidance, it created an environment where calling authorities on neighbors for gathering during holidays like Thanksgiving was treated as responsible behavior rather than something unthinkable. That was the standard. That was the expectation placed on everyone else. And it was delivered with confidence, with certainty, and with the understanding that the people giving those orders should be trusted without hesitation because of their judgment. Now the same person is asking voters to elevate her to governor, to take that same authority and expand it, and at the same time voters are being presented with a fuller record that includes a documented incident involving alcohol, prescription medication, property destruction, and a situation serious enough that police and a medic were called to her home. No charges were filed, and that is part of the story, but it is not the whole story, because elections are not decided by legal thresholds, they are decided by whether voters believe someone’s judgment, temperament, and consistency match the level of power they are seeking. That is where this becomes unavoidable. When someone exercises sweeping authority over millions of people, telling them how to live, who to see, and what risks they are allowed to take, voters are going to ask whether that same person lives by a consistent standard when it comes to their own decisions and their own behavior. That is not a smear. That is not unfair. That is the basic test of leadership. And thanks to Henry J. Gomez of NBC News, this is no longer hypothetical. Amy Action is unfit for the public office!!

@prostreetcar Schneider , you need to sit this one out. Remember how the streetcar was going to pay for itself? You’ve been wrong at every turn, while making money off the streetcar. All the streetcars smell like piss, are dirty, and move throughout a dangerous city. Well done turd

This guy has lost the plot. The streetcar enables Cincinnatians to have a place where they can live car-light and save money for better housing, health care, or a child's eduction. And gain an hour or more a day living a full life without the highway monoculture. It's great.
Chris Mattlin@chrismattlin

@prostreetcar Imagine thinking that a streetcar that serves two neighborhoods is "an alternative to the highway economy". Fuck those other 50 neighborhoods, amirite?
