@RaviMaurya41102 The pillar was newly made and to be more dedicated to the figure of Ashoka in Buddhism and the pillar was built specifically in a Buddhist temple and has no connection with the whole of China (irrelevant).. Just like church, and mosque..

@CarlZha Buddhism originated from present day Nepal, from the place Lumbini. There was no word “Indian” until the British named it, it was called Hindustan in Mughal times. Buddhists in india live in secluded hilly regions, and have no media rep in india.

The Uyghur woman dancer recreated the dancing apsara from Kumtura Thousand Buddha Caves in Kucha, Xinjiang. Xinjiang was a major Buddhist region for 1,000+ years. She is celebrating her cultural heritage Nobody in China denies Indian influence via Buddhism. Don't be a snowflake

The Chinese never had "purity". They were coveted for their culture and vastness. The Mongols and Manchus who conquered China eventually became China. Present day China is home to many races, all who are Chinese. #BecomingChinese is just a repetition of 5000 years of history.
Huỳnh Gia ☘️@trader__mackie

@gonglei89 @Candy0740292956 There is nothing called “Chinese”, you are the product of conquests by the Mongols, the Manchus, and the Japanese — peoples you consider barbaric and inferior. Isn’t that right? There’s nothing “pure” in you except your illusion.

I don't think Buddhist monks from India traded silk. Stop calling it a "Silk Road"! Dunhuang is a series of paintings... The question in this discussion is about the dance choreography that the Chinese copied. The initial Dunhuang paintings were drawn to illustrate stories from India. They represent the cultural history of the subcontinent! Unlike the Chinese, Indians have been practicing their classical dance forms continuously for more than 2,000 years! But the harsh truth is this: the Mogao Caves, which hold these Dunhuang murals, took direct inspiration from India's Ajanta Caves! Imagine this: if I go to Italy, take a picture of ballet, then print and post that picture on a Chinese wall... would it become a "Chinese dance" 1,000 years later?
