At the start of the video these vehicles that collide are already in the northern lane past the box junction you marked The traffic lights for them is some 60-70ft behind then on the other side of a 3 lane road

@Timpani74 @LDNcabbieTXE The filming vehicle light turns green & a load of vehicles come across from their right. How is that possible unless they were in the box junction? Whether they were in their legitimately is another question we can't answer from this short film

Cyclist pulls out of side street wrong way into oncoming traffic, causes a collision and cycles off…

@DangleSpanners @LDNcabbieTXE Why would they be stuck? There is no vehicles ahead of them and the lights for the filming vehicle are obviously red or they would not be stopped

@Timpani74 @LDNcabbieTXE Yeah right We all know they got stuck in the yellow box...hence why they are having to filter into the traffic stream who have right of way on a green light

@DangleSpanners @LDNcabbieTXE You don’t drive do you? They are making a perfectly legitimate right turn and nobody stops in the opposite carriageway yellow box, the keep clear is not contravened either until the accident and even then they both move to one side and park to exchange details

Here’s an idea, why don’t you temporary close Oxford street to see how it displaces all the buses and taxis and how the surrounding roads deal with the extra volume of traffic, hopefully then you will realise what a monumental waste of time and money it is.

@DangleSpanners @LDNcabbieTXE From old Marylebone road 90ft to the right they are both doing the appropriate speed of 20mph or slightly less and have to go 70ft past the stop line to enter the frame so the light will have changed to red around 7-8 seconds after they crossed the line, nice try but irrelevant

@DangleSpanners @LDNcabbieTXE If the cyclist had been a car then they would have been equally 100% responsible for the chain of events they created, but it wasn’t it was a line bike being ridden illegally

@MikeyCycling They have their own bus lanes where they are often stuck behind cyclists who won't move out of the way.

Buses are only slow because too many people choose to drive when they don’t need to. It’s private cars causing nearly all of the congestion in London.
