Only the military have tanks, I don’t see them flying down the roads and footpaths at high speeds. My daughter was nearly killed by a cyclist outside our house doing over 30mp, I live on a hill and my front door is right near a footpath with stupid bushes in the way and stupid cyclists that don’t give a crap about anyone else.

Motorists out here crashing into shit, flipping cars over in residential streets, destroying public infrastructure and killing people on a regular basis, yet cyclists are "the most hated" because some of them don't stop at a specific zebra crossing in London. 👉 motonormativity.

@DangleSpanners @MattCon90191238 @ThatJohnJones Do you understand the word some? It means a few. My partner is also a cyclist although he’s one of many who do have respect for others. He uses proper bike paths and keeps an eye out for others.

Walking to my local bakery this morning a large, strong man on a bike cycling at speed on the pavement nearly ran me over. He hit me, but just a glance because I had taken evasive action. An apology from him? No. Just a torrent of abuse and a threat to kill me. Luckily for me I was near the shops and could get their quickly, while telling the man I'd phone the police if necessary. He cycled off. By the time I came out of the bakery, some people who'd seen (or heard) the incident warned me the cyclist has come back and was trying to find me. One man who looked like he could look after himself told me he told him to shove off. I'm absolutely fed up that we have to live our lives like this in Britain today.

There's about 15 things you could say this about. Bottling a 2-0 lead to Chelsea. Conceding a 95th minute equaliser to Man United. Newcastle game. Terrible officiating against Brentford and Arsenal. Conceding a 91st minute equaliser against Brighton. Paqueta being our starting striker for half the season. It doesn't matter at this point.

A lovely day out in London. I didn't get stabbed. I still have my phone. Nobody tried to radicalise me. The only downside were the rowdy, drunken football guys on the train. But they were harmless and quite polite, just loud. Sadiq Khan's London is a lovely place. 😃

Is there a perfect driver? I don't thing so. I'm certainly not perfect. My problem is with those who have little or no regard for others - the ones who lack empathy for other road users. It's surprisingly easy to be cool to one another when using the road.
