Socialism infiltrated the Democratic Party during the Wilson administration. Destruction of the family, the individual, and the free market economy are all part of the that. The destruction of the family is accomplished by anything that breaks up the nuclear family. That includes keeping us unlearned, poor, criminalized, and fully reliant on the government. It also includes vilifying heterosexual relationships and sexualizing children. That ideology has taken root in the party and the fruit is bitter. Pun intended. We can have a separate family conversation about our role in this destruction, but not here.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but one of the most powerful communication tools you can use in a difficult conversation is to own precisely the accusation you most fear being lodged at you.
At precisely the moment you most want to say, “your father and I aren’t trying to control you — we’re coming from a place of care,”
Instead you resist the temptation and say,
“You probably think we’re being controlling.”
You want to say, “I’m not a hateful person!”
But instead you learn to say, “you might even think I’m hateful.”
Or you’re delivering hard news. Instead of trying to soften the blow, you say, “I have to tell you something you’re not going to like.”
These have the effects of disarming the other person, empathizing with them, giving them permission to have their own perspective — and at the same time subtly showing them that their framing isn’t necessarily yours, and their feelings won’t stop your principles.

The Home Forward board of commissioners approved a $171,000 severance package Friday morning for its embattled former CEO Ivory Mathews, who resigned this week under a cloud that grew over her travel spending on the taxpayer dime.
The board voted unanimously to approve a severance package that includes six months’ pay at $171,000, six months of COBRA health insurance, a payout for any accrued vacation time and up to $50,000 for assistance in finding a new job.
The board’s resolution also included approval of a $275,000 salary for the agency’s incoming interim executive director, current Portland Housing Bureau interim director Michael Buonocore.

There have been many scandals through the history of modern medicine. But none even come close to "gender-affirming care." Think about it: A political movement just conjured into existence a type of young person that defies every single thing known about child and adolescent development, demanded that this fictional patient cohort be pumped full of toxic unproven drugs in the complete absence scientific justification, then insisted that these innocent youth be ushered into the operating theatre to have healthy body parts needlessly lopped off. Extremists of this movement took over the leading professional association in the field (WPATH), set about creating garbage standards of care based on their unhinged ideology, infiltrated the Endocrine Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics and engaged in a conspiracy to manufacture scientific consensus for their despicable, unethical experiment. And every major medical association just went along with it! Fell for the stunt these crackpots pulled! Just accepted that a group of healthy kids needed to have their bodies destroyed because they possess a mystical inner gender essence, that these modern-day lobotomies are “medically necessary” and “life-saving” because a bunch of unhinged fanatics said so.
