Kyle Schwarber held his annual Block Party last night in Philly and they have raised around $1 million for his Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes charity organization benefiting first responders and military members, and their families. His Phillies teammates were there with him. Kyle Schwarber grew up in a family deeply rooted in public service: his father is a retired police chief, his mother served as a police dispatcher, and his sister currently works in law enforcement. In 2017, Kyle and Paige Schwarber started @SchwarbsHeroes to express gratitude for the unique sacrifices made by first responders and their families. The program creates positive experiences while funding wellness, education and critical needs for first responders, military personnel and their families.

@jacquicollins_ I had a particularly bad year last year and ended up adding Astepro to my daily tablet routine. Made a huge difference. Stuff took a bit of getting used to but worked super well for me.

@TheCTStud @fredricokt @LilninjaKevin @MilenniaWoW Yeah it wasn’t far at all. Liquid kill showed the ticking buff did 70% of the damage. So they lost 3ish from that and the other bit from the missing player. Crazy race and finish again.

@fredricokt @LilninjaKevin @MilenniaWoW The leaderboards were showing overall prog as well as p4 prog and flipping back and forth. I’m not sure the number was .14, but their low wipe pre liquid kill was a super low number for sure.

@hoody41 @WGGPapaDom @WGGDrBob Or as skilled. They joked / talked about it a few tiers back but they tune by pushing to the limit of that internal team and multiplying by some factor to push these guys.

If Blizzard was actually genuine about their design/addon philosophy they’d disable addons entirely and make these guilds use WoW’s built-in features only for RWF. The fact that Liquid got this kill with the help of addons and THEN Blizz hotfixed them is such a crock of shit.

@WGGDrBob @WGGPapaDom @hoody41 And having to use coms to ID order from 3 parties, sort out sequence in each of those 3 groups is already a colossal ask. Clearly since we haven’t seen a clean second memory game with the notes app turned on 😂

@WGGDrBob @WGGPapaDom @hoody41 Yeah I’m all for it, as long as the content is viable without. I think that’s where this misses. Dedupe and probably feed all 3 groups the full sequence and then tell them to fuck off with the addon is likely fair. This is a brutal mechanic as is

@Tlaffington @WGGPapaDom @hoody41 I just think if Blizzard wants to practice what they preach and get rid of add on reliance, they should stick to it. Make the racers sweat and work especially after the Gallywix debacle of 2025

@WGGPapaDom @WGGDrBob @hoody41 Bigger picture for me right now is no matter the outcome on the addon as this progresses - this is a ‘damage carries over’ fight. They need to get this chaos cleaned up / consistent and likely rework it later to maximize damage. This is going to be a LOT of pulls.

@WGGPapaDom @WGGDrBob @hoody41 It’s a weird case on the addon because it isn’t automated. I think they actually would benefit from it being nuked if it aligned with a boss change like we saw with the kick addon. Handful of these wipes have come from misclicks on the reporting causing improper orders

@WGGDrBob @hoody41 @WGGPapaDom Yeah if they were to remove the potential for duplicate symbols then go ahead and strike the addon. But that sequence plus clarity of dupes and pairing is too much for the 3-5s they have to handle it without, imo. Even with it, guilds have combined for 100 pulls and 0 prog

@Tlaffington @hoody41 @WGGPapaDom Kinda how I’m seeing it as well. It’s reducing the need for team communication and coordination. If the desire is to reduce/remove add ins with a clearer mechanic depiction blizzard is doing a poor job and the RWF guilds are testing the add one limits Blizz will allow

@deermerty @im_revatha It was, and Bliz compensated for it by making the adds show up in boss frames to enable targeting.

@hoody41 @WGGPapaDom This is probably the closest we’ve seen to can’t. 3 independent teams getting partial info with the possibility of duplicate inputs all in a single chat channel is extremely heavy an ask. The addon isn’t solving it, it’s taking player input and visualizing it reducing verbal comm

@WGGPapaDom its never cant, its always doing things more efficiently, they can do it, but for 8 hours a day you find an easier solution to do this to reduce fatigue since if you fuck this up at any point its a wipe, not a death a full reset, the window to do it will also double after them
