I wonder, what if Democrats made a counterproposal of approving $200 billion bill, but demanding it to include, for instance, $20 billion for Ukraine? Fico claimed that the transfer of Slovak MiG-29s to Ukraine by the previous government left Slovakia defenseless. This is a lie. In 2018 Slovakia ordered 14 F-16s of the latest upgrade Block 70/72 specifically to replace its aging fleet of Soviet MiG-29s. Furthermore, this order was placed under Prime Minister Pellegrini, a Fico ally who then resigned amid a corruption scandal. So, in 2018, the Fico-Pellegrini government ordered upgraded F-16s to replace Soviet MiGs. And then, in 2025, SUDDENLY, they remembered the old MiGs. Meanwhile, 10 of the 14 Block 70/72 F-16s ordered by Slovakia have already been delivered. The last four are expected this year. Ukraine has received 13 MiG-29s, four of which were for spare parts. P.S. Can I ask who you're planning to fight? Since you've got your best friend Putin who definitely has no intention to attack you, right?
