The current Barcelona just aren’t built for a Champions League win. Hard to win the Champions League with such a glaring problem as their highline, and a total unwillingness or inability to adjust. If you play as they do in 38 league games, it works in 28-30 games. In 13 UCL games, it probably only works in 5-6. The margins are insane in the UCL.

@Emiearth This can only happen if the club is the one paying for the tickets. I don’t support fans leaving the stadium but you can’t teach people how to react. Leaving the stadium is better than booing your team or players when they are losing.

Tuchel is one manager people rate very highly but I still don’t get the hype around him Apart from that UCL fluke win with Chelsea, his team has never looked truly dominant to me and his selections are often questionable There is no English centre back right now better than Maguire or with more experience for England than Maguire Let me say it again, Tuchel is not going to win anything with England even if you give him 30 years. his favoritism and cautious approach to games will never allow him to succeed with England You can bookmark this and come back to it later I just hope Manchester United never looks his way.

❌️Shameful from Thomas Tuchel. He’s letting his Chelsea bias creep into England selections: ranking Chalobah, Konsa, Guehi & Stones ahead of Harry Maguire and calling him 5th-choice CB is wild. Maguire leads the Premier League in aerial duel win % (78.3%), dominates set-pieces, and brings leadership plus 65+ caps of tournament experience. When it matters for England and ManchesterUnited, he delivers. Mobility alone doesn’t outweigh consistency, presence, and big-game reliability. Only Guehi has a real case ahead right now. If this is the defensive hierarchy going into the World Cup, England have a serious problem.

The main thing with France’s team balance is that they have the central midfield pool (Tchouaméni, Camavinga, Koné & Kanté) to platform Olise or Cherki as pure creators at 10. With Mbappé, Dembélé & Ekitike to finish the chances they create. That’s a lethal balance overall.
