Good news! The council voted 5-2 to purchase 800 Oak St. a true win-win for the county financially and for the long-term delivery of effective and efficient services. Interesting...the two nay votes came from council members who didn't take the time to tour the building!

On May 30th, 1999, Firefighter Anthony S. Phillips Sr., Engine Co. 10, died in the Line of Duty from burns and smoke inhalation incurred while fighting a townhouse fire at 3146 Cherry Road NE, 2nd Alarm on Box 6178. Never Forget.
