Fully agree. Not helpful. Whilst we urgently need new tools for CCHF, lockdown won’t be one of them. Risk to UK very low, very different to situation in Turkiye, Iraq and Afghanistan.

First CCHF patient dosed today in the UMIT-1 trial in Turkiye! An amazing team at the Dr Abdurrahmem Yurtaslan phase 1 centre and great support from MoH, WHO and MEDEX. A lot of work to get to this point - but CCHF patients haven’t got time to wait ! 👍 GuardRx/TPI for funding.
