@helenmakesmaps For real, GIS professionals are essentially software engineers, it’s just that geography isn’t a field that prints money like, say, e-commerce platforms. Makes me sad.

@OCSteveSDS @CultureCrave He is, by definition, proletarian. All actors, screen writers, lighting riggers… and everything else, they’re all working class. The owning class, the financiers, they are the problem. They do not produce, they make their wealth thru extracted values and rents.

@OCSteveSDS @CultureCrave 8 million is a whole lot closer to you and I than it is to even 100 million… even 100 million is closer you us than it is to 1 billion. Regardless, the working class is not defined by wealth it is defined by trading labor for wages. As such, Ron is part of our class.
