Live look at Jim Urbina’s archeological dig on Pasatiempo’s 16th green. Again, they’re able to track time and the agronomic history of each green, which gives them insight into Hollins’ and MacKenzie’s original design and intentions. Paired with images, notes and a little interpretation, they form the model that they continue to tweak and edit and laser before tearing it up, dig down, install the irrigation and drainage, and then put it all back to the specs of the model. Then Urbina comes back for final edits and sign off. Then it’s seeding and grow-in. In the immortal words of Robin Williams: “18 times!!!” Incredible process to observe and document.🔥
