11am Update Some good news and bad news…with the forecast. First, the bad news: The Eastward Shift is Real. The storm will not come close enough to the NJ coast to get the deformation band into Eastern PA This means Central Pa will not verify Winter Storm Warnings. Southern NJ will not see 2-4 feet of snow as the NAM was showing either. Now the positive aspects of the forecast: The Poconos Manage to hold onto the heavy snow rates thanks to orographic lift and winds will be high enough to achieve Blizzard Conditions there. The Coastal Plain from Delaware to Southern New England is still very much in play for 1-2 feet of snow and Blizzard conditions. So basically, the forecast is looking ok everywhere except Pennsylvania.
