@PeterHooley12 Interestingly, Craig was at least 3 metres in front of Cotton to start the play, and could have easily got in front of him at the rim.
But, jogged first few steps thinking he would cover him easy like he did in first half. But didn’t account for the adjustment.
Amazing shot.

@NBL @BrisbaneBullets @Reese10Angel This is actually fantastic news for the Bullets, NBL, young female fan engagement, as well as the WNBL.
This will pay dividends strategically in the long run, assuming she stays invested.
Please ignore the other ridiculous comments on this post.

The most interesting part of black swan events is when you dig into the guys who saw it coming years before everyone else with such prescience.
Of course there is an element of selection bias here, but it is still insane to know that in each niche area of geopolitics, macro, investing, business, there's always a guy who gets it right with such accuracy that you have to take a step back and be like TF?!
(Yes, I'm talking about Professor Jiang, despite allegedly being a bit of a propagandist for the CCP he has been remarkably prescient on the Iran War dynamics that have played out).
I had a similar experience when diving into the AGI archives ages ago... You look at the guys that have been posting on lesswrong for close to TWENTY YEARS. Twenty fucking years. And they've been right about most of what's happened in AI. Or go back further and read Kurzweil.
I was lucky (or just curious?) that I discovered these types of people at just the right time in my life and it shaped my thinking enormously into a direction that just happened to be way closer to reality than many other people's mental models.
We live amongst outlier individuals that are so much smarter than your median human that most people don't even recognise their talent.

@RRome44 @Adelaide36ers Agree, not sure why Wells was talking about him throwing punches when there was no way he could see anything.

Hunter Moldanado played for us and one thing I can say is that he always has been a high character person....he's a class act.... The folks @Adelaide36ers who are trying to sandbag him need to apologize to that man....i don't see how Hunter got tossed.... Rakocevic delivered an elbow to him, he has to be able to at least protect himself and he barely had a chance to do even that 🤷🏾
