@WorkaholicDavid While I agree it's flawed, I think the association primarily comes from the fact that the average selling price of an Android phone is ~$280 while that of iPhones is ~$800. Yes, there are Android phones costlier than iPhones, but those aren't the most popular ones

This is the fundamental issue with this poor mentality. People need to stop associating cost with Android.

@on_tesla @sashayanshin @MetaThought100 Tbf why would it ever expect someone to refer to themselves as their son's father? It doesn't know you're asking if a riddle, it just expects you're talking like a human being

Chat GPT is going to take all our jobs by the end of the year. Large language models are real AI that is smarter than 99.9% of people. If you don’t understand, you are too stupid to understand AI.

@sashayanshin ChatGPT isn't going to be replacing everyone's jobs anytime soon, but this is a stupid prompt to begin with. It's obviously assuming you're the mother (or other father)

@AppleBytesPhD @AbdulSbeei @durreadan01 Video call apps are an obvious exception, but there will always be an indicator at the top to ensure you know it. Ig what I meant to say was apps can't access the mic or camera in the background without the user knowing. I'm sure your sleep tracker shows an indicator too

@Tom_Stevens617 @AbdulSbeei @durreadan01 This is not true. You can use the phone app and use other apps at the same time on iOS and video for FaceTime or Zoom for example. The sleep tracking app I use also uses the microphone in the background.

Underrated iOS feature: Privacy overview. Being able to quickly check — within the control center — which apps recently used your camera, mic, and location.

@AbdulSbeei @durreadan01 Yes of course! If you do not care about if an app has accessed your camera and microphone in the background you are in the significant minority…

@fahim_al_mahmud As for the OnePlus 12, it is a relatively minor upgrade over the 11. The 15 Pro being a (debatably) smaller upgrade and being called a Porsche has nothing to do with each other

@fahim_al_mahmud One, he didn't actually criticise the 6A, and two, for most people Android phones and iPhones aren't really in competition anyway. (1)

Thanks, MKBHD, for calling out reviewers who are not honest. But the funny thing is he himself is dishonest when it comes to Apple products. Criticising Pixel 6A for having 60 Hz display while not doing the same for base iPhone 13, 14, 15, or iPhone SE 2022. Calling OnePlus 12, a minor upgrade when calling iPhone the porshe of smartphone when the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max had an even smaller upgrade. The list goes on and on... Now I know I'll get tons of hate comments in this post because I criticized the "GOAT of tech reviewer", but the fact is, with great followers number comes great responsibility and that responsibility should be equal for all brand. Only then can a reviewer be called unbiased. Otherwise, they are the opposite of unbiased, and this applies to every reviewer, small or big 🤷‍♂️

@rufpreto @PhillyBeatzU @dbrand It refers to penis in your own language. It's a joke native to your language. So you can relate to it. Chitransh means Artist in that customer's native language, not shit rash. So that person clearly does not relate to a 'humorous' allusion to excreta rash. There's a difference.

Well that escalated quickly. 1. Yes - we made fun of a guy's name. It was a huge fumble. 2. We apologized to him directly and offered him $10,000 as a gesture of goodwill. 3. We've been poking fun at customers on social media for over a decade now. We're not going to stop, but maybe next time you'll be the one who gets $10,000.

@TheGalox_ That's not a standout feature, this isn't a feature even most Android users care about. RCS support is easily the standout feature imo, especially since Apple is adding encryption to it's universal standard

@_TwistedTech It absolutely takes away choice. If you want a watch that works well with the iPhone you only have one choice. It's the definition of being anticompetitive

In 2024, Companies are using the EU as a crutch to compete against Apple instead of actually making a better product. A similar situation is developing in the US companies don't want to actually make a better product, They don't want to invest in their product, Or actually market their product. They expect the Government to make them better more competitive, Hoping people will buy their product . The reality is this, If the product was actually better people would buy it. Europe has no problem buying non Apple products. "Oh your just defending Apple" No, dumbass I just want a better product without Excuses and the help of an 80 year old Congressman who still uses a rotary phone from 1955‼️

@AndroidAuth Not only that but they want to push their iCloud services on to people too, to have the 'optimised' version of their photos on the phone to save space but the actual photo/video will be stored in iCloud for an additional cost as their 5gb free offering is no where near enough.
