I flew out of here just 6 days ago. Luckily I booked an 8:30 am flight (which the wife hated for the 4:00 am wake up and 6:00 am TSA arrival). Our TSA experience that day was about 20 minutes. (Followed by a 2 hour delay, which the wife also hated but we did a nice breakfast.)

The Iranians had offered extraordinary concessions in the latest round of negotiations before we used the ruse of diplomacy to attack their country and murder their leader. And btw that leader was the guy who had issued a religious decree AGAINST nuclear weapons. The truth is Iran is FAR MORE likely to pursue nukes now because of the actions of Trump, Hegseth and this entire band of war criminals.

@msathia I took a picture of Saturn with a cellphone held to an eyepiece of a cheap-ish set of 12x (maybe 10x) binoculars, both held in my hand, no tripod. Bathed in industrial exterior lights on a power plant property. It sucked but you could discern the rings. Astronomy is attainable.

NEW: Jasmine Crockett's security guard has been killed after a standoff with Dallas police SWAT officers, according to CBS News. "Mike King" was recently seen at campaign events with Crockett. According to police, King was wanted for impersonating a law enforcement officer. He reportedly fled into a hospital parking garage and barricaded himself inside a vehicle. King was then forced out of the car with tear gas and pulled his gun on officers. "Multiple law enforcement sources tell CBS News Texas the man, known publicly as Mike King, had been using aliases while running a business that placed officers in off‑duty jobs," CBS reported. King reportedly drove a replica undercover police vehicle and used stolen license plates from cars at a military recruiting office.
