I moved to NYC in February and just started doing IRL meetings + coworking this month. For 2 years my job at Brex was to be a super connector. Always “on”, meeting with founders, hosting and attending events 3-4 nights per week. While I absolutely LOVE it, community-led growth took a huge toll on me. It took a huge toll on my energy and mental health. But now that’s changing. I’m coming back into my element and slowly but surely getting back out in these community streets. Point of the story is that sometimes you need to do what you have to do to take care of yourself. And if it means being a hermit and slowly reintroducing yourself to the super social life you once knew - Then so be it. See yall outside 🤙🏾

Where are we finding/reading great articles these days? 📚 Like magazine-quality storytelling, the kind of articles you want to pass along for someone else to read. I kind of miss the olden days of Twitter, when great magazine stories would take off and cause discussion. I've found myself inundated with educational content through the newsletters and social content I follow (which is great!). But I'm really missing great stories that go beyond a short post. FYI - I think @every has done this model incredibly well but I'm looking for more that are similar! What are your favorite high-quality publications/substacks etc.?
