@FinPlanKaluAja1 For this graph to be accurate it needs to be in USD, in 2014 it was N160/$1, now it's N1300/$1. The deficit of N964B in 2014 now has the same value as N9.6T today.

The excessive spending of this President is a core sovereign risk. If, for any reason, oil goes to $50 and stays there for 24 months, the nation will experience significant solvency problems and will be pushed to the arms of the IMF. As I say, I have not seen an infrastructure project yet announced that I don't like, but better soup na money kill am. What is more troubling is that the issue is not revenues; cash is pouring in, which then means that if we propose the federal government grow the economy and earn more revenues, they will, then immediately turn around and spend more. The economic team around the president must rein this spending in

At this point of world history, life is basically perfectly fine in every metro area with a GDP per capita > 5K, so yes even in countries with very poor per capita incomes like Kenya, if you live in the right neighborhoods in Nairobi(per capita income is above 5K) , you'll have a fantastic consumerist globohomo life if you so choose. It will be a far better lifestyle than what you would get living in New York or London or whatever gay western city. This isn't apparent to a lot of westerners, which is why there is so much arbitrage right now living this way. The passport bro thesis to life, if you take it broader beyond women and relationship(although they're correct there as well), is absolutely correct. At least it is to me.

I don’t know about Tunisia as a whole and the country’s future is not reassuring, but if you have some money, Tunis is a legitimately impressive city. The gyms are top tier, the bars and scenery in the northern suburbs are top tier, the restaurants are amazing and there’s a big variety, wellness centers are evolving and are becoming world class thanks to Instagram Reels. In addition to the historic/cultural aspect of the city. And I know these are things only middle class+ care about. Tunis is absolutely horrible if you’re poor and you feel why it’s in a third world country then. And by top tier I mean: better than in most European cities. In fact I think the northern suburbs of Tunis are nicer places to live in than many Western and Central European capitals with the obvious exceptions of places like Paris, Milan, and London, especially Paris, which in my opinion is the best city on the planet with no close second. I would have no issue moving back to Tunis if the country had no restrictions on imports and was more integrated in the global financial system (these two things are necessary for my mindless consoomerist lifestyle and I want to be paid in Euros or USD there) I think it would be ideal even. Also everything I said, I believe, is even more true for Morocco. Its big cities must be really pleasant if you have a foreign salary.

@hugonotex03 @Dani6CBP__ Nigeria already has 7 cities that are larger than Madrid with an urbanisation rate of only just 50%. Many rural people are also missed on the census, and regardless the average family still has on average 5 kids per family. Africa's population is still set to boom.

@xcanceluser @DivaJain2 I doubt it, Africa has 54 countries which act as 54 different policy laboratories. All is takes is just 1 to find the formula to develop for the rest to follow, whereas India is only just 1 country.

@strcyup @rixisdavid Black people in the UK are one of the most educated ethnic groups. It is not a coincidence that the current Deputy prime minister, Leader of the conservative party and opposition as well as the CFO of the Bank of England are all black. MENA people are more overrepresented in jail

5 race-based facts: - Ashkenazi have the highest average IQ - Scots have clearly underrated per capita achievements - Whites are solid in both physical ability and IQ - White nats praise Japanese/EA civility, but it's rarely reciprocated - MENA ppl are worse than blacks in Europe

@morris_que14 This logic makes no sense as a White American's share more in common with an African American than a Latin or Asian American, considering they have on average around 20% of northern mostly British European ancestry. This doesn't change much though as racists will still be racist.

A White American literally shares a common white European ancestry with Latin Americans that he doesn't share with an East Asian who has literally ZERO European ancestry. While Latin Americans are generally more racially mixed with more African and Amerindian ancestry than the average white American, European admixture in Latin America still averages out to 50-60% of their genome and European ancestry is the predominant ancestry throughout the continent. Even Mexicans are at least 50% European. It's obviously higher in places like the Southern Cone and Brazil.
Morrisan15 tweet media
Morrisan15@morris_que14

Wignats with Asian fetish will screech at you when you show them data that proves that Arabs, Latin Americans, Indians and Central Asians are closer genetically and yes, culturally to white Europeans than East Asians are even though it's objectively true. Indian Hinduism shares a common origin to ancient Indo-European paganism and Islam is much closer to Christianity than Taoism is. And Latin Americans are literally at least 50-60% European genetically.

This is a typical black middle-class neighborhood in the Atlanta area. This is not AI. The black middle-class is invisible in the US because we are boring. We’re not depicted in movies, TV shows, etc. because parents work everyday, attend youth sports event, go to church, etc.

Nigeria really thrives on hype and scam. This popular Don Julio drink is a very cheap liquor of £135 only. Yes, you heard me right: Very cheap liquor. Yet once it enters Nigeria, it becomes gold and everybody bows to worship it. From real estate to restaurants to clubs, What is called “luxury” in Nigeria, is nothing but scam and exploitation.

This iconic bottle of Don Julio 1942 retails for around ₦500,000 at premium drinks stores in Nigeria. In the clubs? It moves for ₦1.2M in regular spots to ₦2M+ in top Lagos venues. Guess what? Over 2,000 original bottles are purchased on a typical weekend across the country! The fakes probably double these figures. Data is key… Nigeria’s luxury space is underrated!
