Well. I do not see African women doing this. I think this is because Africa is majority black and everyone is in the same poverty class. This prevents anyone from feeling less than. American blacks are constantly degraded and compared to the majority civil upper class whites. This takes a toll on one's psyche. You're constantly at your boiling point.
