Dziś jako psychiatrka powiem wam coś po psychiatrycznemu. Właśnie rozpoczęło się Narodowe Święto Chlania – czyli majówka. Dla każdej psychospecjalistki i każdego psychospecjalisty to jedne z najgorszych dni w roku. Gdy dyżurowałam w Tworkach, najgorszym dniem na dyżur były ostatnie dni majówki. Że alkohol to substancja psychoaktywna, zmieniająca waszą świadomość i zdolności poznawcze. Że alkohol to narkotyk i wasze mózgi go naprawdę nie potrzebują. Że gdy pijecie, narażacie siebie i innych na konsekwencje tych fatalnych wyborów. A jedyny w 100% pewny sposób na to, by nie stać się uzależnionym od alkoholu, to nie pić w ogóle. Uzależnienie od alkoholu to CHOROBA, co oznacza, że jeśli to Twoja historia i tej majówki, to znaczy, że nie potrzebujesz więcej alkoholu, a potrzebujesz pomocy psychospecjalistów i psychospecjalistek. Tę chorobę można i należy leczyć jak każdą inną. Odpoczywaj z głową!
