@livgolf_league Having some scuffed turf in your advertisement after this week is a crazy decision from the marketing team.

@dilanesper Masters Food prices are the give and take. Ridiculously difficult to acquire tickets, and an expensive merchandise store that every patron shells out tons for knowing they will likely never get to attend again. The food “maybe” makes margins, but the merch makes millions.

Hey @SouthwestAir. Now flown on 5 flights since assigned seating. Always take rows 4-6 to get extra legroom and always group 1. Have yet to be able to get my bag within 2 rows of me. As A-List Preferred, I would always just go to where there was bin space above me before assigned seating. That isn’t working now if I want a premium seat. Hope you can figure out a fix.

@BillArnoldTeach “Built on” is a strong statement that doesn’t argue well. Christianity was built on the teachings of Christ, not the anecdotal interactions. The anecdotal interactions are a sign of Christ, not the foundations of Christ. John 20:29 is an example of this.

@VickyS123a @riecker Could you share a biblical source for further explanation of that unique closeness? I struggle with the Catholic doctrine that praying through a saint accomplishes your goal.

PRAYER REQUEST🛑🙏 Last night I started working on a free course about how to best lust for Catholic men. This is one of the most important projects I’ve ever worked on. Please, right now, stop scrolling, remember God’s presence, and say 3 Hail Marys asking Our Lasy to bless this project and all who watch it. Thank you in advance! I need your prayers. The Devil opposes this work.

Protestantism didn't exist for 1500 years. It started when a catholic monk, Martin Luther, left his religious order. Luther accepted the Bible of rabbinic Judaism as his Old Testament, which formed after the life of Jesus and the destruction of the Temple by the Romans. Jesus and the Apostles used the Septuagint, which had more books and is quoted in the New Testament. Luther also changed many teachings of the Christian Church. Many men copied Luther's rebellion and you now have Protestantism.

@Faithful2Pray Do churches in the Protestant tradition that hold to real presence theology have any other conditions that caused them to be excommunicated “not split” from the RCC?

@hillbillythings This is in direct opposition to the teachings of the RCC. I wouldn’t go as far as to define it as heresy or anathema, as the RCC likes to do with its dogmatic belief, but it is completely opposed to the teachings of Rome.

@gonefishin1948 @redeemed_zoomer While it is not a commandment of biblical nature to lie with your spouse, it seems very strongly required by the reading of 1 Cor 7 2-5 Not abstaining the last portion mentioning of abstinence in times of great prayer, but to then come together again.

I'm gonna be honest: I'm getting more skeptical about the doctrine of the Perpetual Virginity of Mary than I used to be I kinda accepted it out of historical peer pressure since all the Reformers did, but: 1. I struggle to see why it matters, and the history of its development includes a lot of VERY weird speculations, such as whether Jesus miraculously teleported through Mary at his birth or not 2. Gregory of Nyssa and Calvin both seem to say it's weird when people make it an essential belief 3. All biblical cases for it seem to be grasping at straws. I'm still open to it but I need to be convinced why it matters.

@CatholicDrip___ Tertullian, Origen, Hegesippus, Clement of Alexandria, Athanasius, Augustine, etc. Early church fathers did not all of unilateral consensus on doctrinal issues. Believing they did is foolish.

@dlongenecker1 This is so far from factual it is saddening to see. The issue is and wasn’t ever about Protestants not having service on holy days, but rather Protestants are members of the church universal and some Catholics choose for nothing but further separation. Emphasis on some.

@CryptoChicken7 @TheSeanEsposito Completely agreed, but if Christ fulfilled the old law, but would still live in modern times under the old law, did he fulfill it, and if he fulfilled it and lived it, why wouldn’t we live the old law as well?

@TorevorIRL @TheSeanEsposito I am simple man so I think simply. He tells me not to murder , lie, steal, commit adultery, etc...I dont do it. He full fullied them cause we could not, he never sinned. He paid our "fine" then said please obey me "If you love me, you will keep my commandments" - Jesus

@TheSeanEsposito @CryptoChicken7 I think I see where you are coming from. If this is correct in practical teaching and doctrine, should all Christians keep the levitical laws not pertaining to sacrifice, such as dietary, as is done by Christ?

@BasedWaifuu @JeffCassman @riecker This seems like something that wouldn’t be kosher “lol” given the claims of universal to the RCC. If a holiday is not worth sacrificing on, what’s the point of sacrifice?

I guess it’s more of an allowance made by the Vatican (iirc St John Paul II allowed for people who may only be able to eat meat on special occasions to substitute for a different sacrifice when given the opportunity to eat meat, due to economic reasons), my guess is they’re extending this idea to include the celebrations that are customary in different countries as a “taking the opportunity to eat meat in special circumstances”, and as such making a different sacrifice to compensate in a way. Wether this is sanctioned by the Vatican is something I don’t know though u.u
