this was the moment i lost everything (-$50,000)
that’s all i had
but now looking back at it, im very grateful it happened. this is when azukis went from $5,000 to $40,000 in a few weeks. the whole time, i was euphoric but the other side was confused.
also my entire networth was that jpeg lol.
how could i make my parents annual salary (of my childhood) in such a short amount of time? if this was true, wouldn’t they have wasted so much of their life?
this thought process was so conflicting that i believe my mindset brought the scam to reality. it was self inflicted.
for days i was numb, but i just sat with the fact that it was completely my responsibility. from that moment, everything changed because i was so mindful of my thoughts.
made sure everything was always aligned, and if anything felt off, id cut it immediately or refine it.
a reminder of how powerful the ideas we think are. how we need to protect them and value our peace and perspective.
🙏🏼
glad to say that all paid off since
FTX Disputed reserve: Reduced by $1.7bn
Original: $6.5bn
Jul 25: FTX reduced disputed reserve by $1.9bn to $4.6bn and paid out $1.6bn in Sept
Jan 26: Reserve reduced to $2.89bn
$9.6bn claims have been reconciled
FTX will likely pay out ~ $1.7bn at the next FTX distribution
Controversial take
Increased institutional involvement this cycle doesn't mean that a shallow dip and a "soft" bear market is guaranteed
In fact it means it's very unlikely
2026 could be the biggest unwind this space has ever experienced precisely because of institutions
This cycle was the institutional cycle. ETFs, DATs, Saylor. First time $BTC became a truly institutional asset. Which is bullish on paper, but the reality is that institutions are forced sellers once the market goes below a certain level. They have clients to protect and risk management rules to follow
They do not diamond hand
They do not hodl
They sell and derisk into cash
People saying that because of institutions, $BTC will never go below 60k or 70k or whatever it is because there will be too much institutional demand
But I'm wondering the opposite: how much institutional supply will there be at those prices?
i dont get the people that say this cycle sucked. i can recall a ton of pockets of opportunity to quite literally make gen wealth. (404, early sol onchain, memes, bome, ai meta, trump, hype, wlfi, plasma, etc) list goes on and on and on.
we are def late now but dont delude yourself into thinking this cycle had no opportunity. the sooner u accept that it was a skill issue, the sooner you'll be on the right path

This rake is getting out of hand. I had to seach the T&Cs small print to find an extra 5% of prizepool withheld, on top of the already high rake.
888 Main event = £1045+205 (16.4% rake)
888 High Roller = £1710+290 (14.5% rake)

Update: it somehow exceeded expectations. His flow and control were perfect and I would never expect that ever from someone his age. His stage presence was incredible, the crowd was fully there and invested. It’s a must see show
About to go see Nas tonight and I could not be more excited. For me Illmatic is a top 3 hip hop album of all time. As a rural sheltered kid growing up the first hip hop I ever heard was when my next door neighbor who was this really cool girl 2 years older than me brought me to her room to make me listen to Stillmatic which had just come out and I was 15. It was the first rap album I had heard at the time only having been exposed to mostly 70s rock and current alt-pop music of the time. I was immediately blown away and remember going home immediately and the next day getting Illmatic to hear where that album had come from, and to me it was perfect from start to finish, and honestly I still feel that way today 25 years later.
@blknoiz06@divnodev@Credib1eGuy Ansem scares all the hoes at the bottom and all the retail plebs copy trade and stay sidelined
“i mean i understand why”
@divnodev@Credib1eGuy i mean i understand why
a lot of people got bearish Q1 & didnt buy the bottom, uptrend hasnt been very generous w/ dips to buy so most still sidelined
we are the stage everyone wants an entry
dips will be shallow in my opinion
up a lot further than you expect
big dip comes when like everyone says f it and buys all at once
then fear and we run it up AGAIN stupidly high
consolidate, crazy froth
one more push, death
