@MAH458 @catturd2 Why would they build in a strategic blunder like that. We aren't a trustworthy partner. There is a reason after this reset happened that our Defense stocks dropped and EU ones went up. They'll buy Eurofighters and build their own munitions. They are rebuilding their DIB.

@catturd2 If in the foot note we mention that they will buy from our military manufacturers, this will help with our deficit. We are all set and everyone is happy except maybe the Russian federation!

Good news folks ... Europe and especially the UK will be providing everything Zelensky needs from now on to keep fighting for years and never have peace. They'll be providing all the money and all the military weaponry. Oh yeah, and what they can't provide, Canada will be more than glad to make up for it. Trudeau will be happy to. We can now forget about Ukraine and the never-ending money being flushed down the toilet - and we can start spending our hard earned money on our actual citizens.

I decided after my brief hospital stay 5 weeks ago, I was going to try to be more healthy. For 35 days, I haven't drank any alcohol. At 60-years-old, I decided not go on any specific diet; just eat less and clean - meats, fruits, and vegetables. In 35 days, I've lost 20 pounds and have a ton more energy. Going to keep doing what I'm doing.

They answer up their various hierarchical grouping to their branch Secretary, who answers to the SecDef, who answers to the president. If the request came from the office of the president and not DOGE, then they'd answer.

Basically every fed employee I've talked to tonight has said their agency head has encouraged them not to respond to the musk email until they get more guidance.

Thank you for the information. It's not easy for the average Joe to wrap our heads around what's going on. We have to help one another not hurt one another. I will follow you because you seem to not mind dialog that can help and not hurt. I'm refraining from responding to a lot of stuff online because so many are just name calling. Just a reminder to the maga crowd cheering on these mass firings... These are scientists. Park rangers. Disabled Veterans. Humanitarians. Civil servants. They are human. They have bills to pay. Families who depend on them. Children. Many of them took pride in their work. Some were just getting started in their careers. Losing a job and financial hardship is not funny. It impacts every member of the family. It impacts self worth. It impacts the economy. Finding satisfaction in the indiscriminate firing of tens of thousands of Americans at the hands of a punch drunk billionaire is not only cruel, it's unAmerican. This is not patriotism.

@MizzJones_01 @Llana No it's done every week. Just usually to your manager... not the CEO or COO. They then filter that up to their manager and so forth until the CEO/COO gets a much shorter list of what the divisions have accomplished. Your manager may also just do it for you.

Should all federal employees be required to send a short email with some basic bullet points about what they accomplished last week?

May be not everything can be, but what is wrong with trying to claw our production back to the United States. First it would take commitment from each of us and lots of scarface too. Start buying American made products. We've been brainwashed into to believing we need every cheap gadget under the sun. We have to pull back. It's a long road, nothing is impossible with true grit. I'm rolling up my sleeves. I'll do whatever to leave my children in a better place. May be a pipe dream but I choose to keep hope alive. I'm looking to see what I can do, what I can cut out that doesn't support American manufacturers.

Frankly I'm looking forward to seeing the DoD finally get a taste of "What exactly am I fuckin paying for?" Maybe we'll start getting projects that don't go years over schedule. Maybe we'll get some better agile acquistion rules too.
