@ZacGoodman_ Real answer: Keep turning left until you are running away from the walls. Continuing to run straight into a wall is moronic.

The wrong question… 🛑 “When do we stop training strength and start developing speed/power?” The right question… 🙌🏻 “How do we address all simultaneously so we never run into walls in training?” Answer: Conjugate Training

@MikeCunningham Definitely agree he will help someone, but here are the stats: 420 HS boys in just the U.S. so far have run 10.5x or faster this year 🤯

@ZacGoodman_ Terrible advice that no elite level track coaches do. College or professional. Only coaches trying to prove and convince everyone else they know what they’re doing would do this.

All of our Sprint work is done on a Laser or Shredmill. Logged on our App. Always chasing a PR. You don’t need much when athletes attack it!

The fastest way to get faster is to Sprint maximally as often as possible. In order to do that, you must operate at low volumes per session. This allows you to make more frequent deposits per week. For this reason, we rarely exceed more than 5 Sprint Reps per session.

@coachdeesmith @Challenger_ST OR…. Be a really good track coach and easily make 6 figures with plenty of time for your family…. “Really good” is the kicker. Most coaches are not.

Box Squatting for Athletes👇🏻 ➡️Pause on the box ➡️Box should be at or below parallel (12-16”) ➡️Narrower Stance transfers better to jumps ➡️“Sit” on the box, don’t squat to the box. The Box squat can change your athlete’s performance for the better!🙌🏻

@Jpump44 @iFearGodNotThem Neither of them planned to get injured. They would love to be running faster, but they gotta work up from where they are now. Sit back and watch what the defending world champs can do.

@iFearGodNotThem Everybody keep saying, "September " like it's 3 months out when it's right around the corner. 6 weeks isn't that long. People were saying the same thing about Sha'Cari and no disrespect, but dropping from 11.2 to 10.6 is gonna be tough as well as 10.0 to 9.7 in even less time.🤷🏾

I could be wrong, but Noah looks heavy . He Might be in a heavy block of weights and training cycle. But if he’s running 10.0/19.8 in that cycle he’s going to be ready by September. But what do I know.

Rule of thumb: You shouldn't listen to anyone's advice on exercise if they regularly use the word cardio.

@BamaCoachWiley …maybe they didn’t like you coach. Or the campus. Or weird Tuscaloosa. Maybe there’s an Olympian on another campus they want to train with. Or a coach that talked about THEM and not the Olympian they coach. Couple ideas. You’ll get through this tough time, I promise.

I can’t imagine why somebody wouldn’t want to train with an Olympic finalist in your event each and every day. What better way to challenge yourself to be great than training with the best? Make me understand? Results > Hype! #noshortcut #ittakeswhatittakes
