@PamelaRaeHeath @PaulDMauro I worked at the Shell Oil Deer Park Manufacturing Plant in the 70s. All our refineries and chemical plants are old. The announcement of the new refinery in south Texas is welcomed news. There should be a big push to upgrade these facilities and build new ones.

@PaulDMauro Very hard to say. They have had explosions there for decades. UTMB-Galveston had burn victims from their refinery explosions in the 1970s.

Possibility of an Iran- linked attack here has to be entertained — but let’s see.
