Some of the roughest couple months of my life... I ran into some legal issues and not even a week after lost the best man in my wedding and more influential people in life... Small caps Hadn't been producing so I've made my way back to large/Mega caps and it's refreshing. Sometimes life hits you in the back of the head with a 2x4 when you least expect it... To everyone who's reached out I really appreciate it. (Even if I haven't responded) I'm alive and back in the markets.
"Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again, but life goes on. Money isn't real, George. It doesn't matter." -Blow

@simbatrading thanks for the explanation! I have seen this kind of move happening often towards EOD to clear out some ssellers SL. did you also expect it would roundtrip afterwards?
English

@TraderUrsidae There was no reason for it to drop 30% in a minute…either someone got liquidated or it was manipulation … been happening a ton lately in the small caps.

@Stefan_Trades This is such a powerful breakdown bud! t’s one thing to lose money, but admitting you lost the "mental wheel" is a pro move. Most guys would just bury that or blame the market, but you are not that kind of guy! ;) we are going to see some truly amazing stuff from you!!!

This last period was probably the most valuable drawdown I’ve had.
I went down -100k, and honestly, it had very little to do with my strategy.
It started with fatigue and frustration.
I missed some big opportunities early, and instead of accepting it, I carried that frustration into the next trades. At the same time, I stopped respecting my stops and let trades go way further against me than they should.
From there, it slowly turned into something deeper.
Old habits came back:
- Wishing and hoping for trades to come back
- Holding losers longer than I should
- Forcing trades with unrealistic expectations
That “gambling state” is always there in the background, but fatigue made it much harder to control.
If you look at the drawdown curve, you can actually see it:
Around -50k I was already in a bad mental state.
Then I had one big winning trade (WNW) that brought me back a bit - but it didn’t fix anything. Right after that, I went straight back to trading poorly.
That was probably the most important realization:
One good trade doesn’t fix bad trading.
At the bottom, I knew I had to stop… but I couldn’t.
It honestly felt like not being able to walk away from a casino.
That’s where having someone external (Jared) helped a lot.
He basically told me to stop trading.
I already knew it… but in that state, i could not pull myself away from trading.
I ended up taking a full week off and going on vacation:
- No charts
- No trading discussions
- Removed everything trading-related from my phone
Just a complete reset and fully disconnecting from trading.
That changed everything.
When I came back:
- I felt in control again
- Expectations were reset
- I was satisfied with smaller wins
- Focused on execution instead of PnL
With some good market momentum, I recovered the losses in ~1–2 weeks.
But I know for a fact:
That recovery wouldn’t have happened without the break.
In that previous state, I would’ve found a way to mess up even the cleanest setups.
The most valuable part of this drawdown:
It didn’t just show emotional mistakes - it exposed a major structural leak in my trading.
There was a part of my strategy/edge that was quietly costing me ~50k per month in slow bleed, but it wasn’t obvious before because it happened gradually.
This drawdown made it impossible to ignore.
Because the pain was so big, I was forced to really look at it, break it down, and fix it.
That played a big role in the recovery as well — not just mentally resetting, but also removing something that was consistently dragging my performance down.
Main focus going forward:
- Manage energy better (sleep, less screen time after trading)
- Reduce obsession (less constant chart watching / talking trading all day)
- Catch the warning signs earlier
- Step away before it compounds into a full drawdown
This was a tough period, but probably one of the most important ones for my long-term consistency.

🟢🟢🟢 +3000$ again facturando 🟢🟢🟢
Cosas a comentar. Me esperaba un poco más de gap en $AIXI , $OMEX BE de no tocar.

@qatarairways Nobody wants you cheap competition, we need flights to go home and assistance while we are stranded!!! -.-

Another day, another “operations remain temporarily suspended” update — now into day 4 with Qatari airspace still closed and no end in sight.
We are PAYING CUSTOMERS (many Privilege Club Gold/Platinum) who trusted the “World’s Best Airline” — yet you keep shutting everything down without real solutions.
Why aren’t you:
- Rerouting us on partner/oneworld airlines or ANY available carriers bypassing Doha?
- Opening more rebooking options beyond “change within 14 days” or partial refunds that barely help?
- Arranging charter flights, hotel vouchers, or meaningful compensation for people stranded worldwide?
Other airlines reroute aggressively during crises — why does Qatar Airways just keep extending suspensions and telling us to wait for tomorrow’s update… again?
Is passenger welfare secondary when airspace closes? We paid premium fares for reliability — not endless uncertainty.
If you value your customers, stop the daily delays and START HELPING US NOW.

Stranded in Singapore and Zero support: NO rerouting, no duty of care just pushing a ridiculous $500 reimbursement while flights home cost ~$4,000.
Nice attempt to dodge responsibility. I know my rights and will claim every dollar back. Lawyer if needed
