As of 19 Nov 23, here are 15 things I hate about Melbourne: 1. It's ugly 2. It's got construction sites everywhere (and a hole drivers) 3. It has loads of young people dressing like they are from the 1980s e.g. acid wash jeans and mullets 4. You can't say anything without offending anyone 5. All the shops you loved pre-pandemic are closed/shut down 6. It has no soul 7. The traffic is horrendous 8. It has the worst City Council in human history 9. It smells 10. Restaurants have so many on-costs to eating out now - 20% surcharges for eating in, for weekends etc. 11. It's full of tight arses 12. The political corruption is extraordinary 13. Crazy people, homeless and druggies everywhere (I care about the people, but critical of the policy) 14. It's overpriced - housing affordability is insane 15. Despite all these things, you've got a bunch of knobs trying to convince everyone how awesome it is or if you disagree you should eff off!
