@HenMazzig Iran has the largest ethnic Jewish population in the world. Israel has the largest Jewish convert community in the world. The language is merely called Hebrew but in reality is a hybrid language including Yiddish, Lithuanian, Aramaic, German, and Samaritan Hebrew

Over half the world's Jews live in Israel. Our culture was born there, and some of us never left. It's the only place where Hebrew, the Jewish language, is spoken. The country's calendar is the Jewish calendar. I could go on, and on... There's no "theoretical" Jewish state. There's Israel. A living, breathing, innovating, diverse, beautiful country. Just like other states are defined around common group identities and culture, Israel is, too. Jews who were oppressed in other countries, by other groups who had their own countries, eventually decided to make our own. Anyways, I didn't realize your ignorance of all of these basic elements of Jewish history ran so deep. Remind me, why are you making your career commenting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict again?

@ottawanative9 @Blueberr8383 @elicalebon The latest polling of Iranian Americans showed that two thirds oppose the war. Nobody disputes that Reza Pahlavi has a following. Majority support among 92 million Iranians is not proven by marches. Many Iranians passionately oppose both him and the regime

@elicalebon 1) Colonialism is not ridiculing the son of a murderous tyrant whose dictatorship was installed by the British! 2) You can’t cheer on a Western war on Iran and then denounce colonialism! 3) You supported a war we told you would be a catastrophe. We were right. You were wrong.

@RobDunsmore Norway: high price at the pump and a 2T financial cushion, solid energy infrstructure, etc. UK: high price at the pump, bankrupted by brexit, polluting with other countries diesel whilst dreaming about a green future and no sovereign fund. Yes, let's compare.

Current fuel prices in Norway. If you're arguing that we need to 'drill baby drill' to make your petrol cheaper, maybe stop pointing to our friends across the sea as the standard example to follow cos clearly it isn't that simple

@MilkRoadMacro @Polymarket Polymarket gives Hormuz 13% to normalize but nobody's pricing LNG through the same strait. Thermal coal at $146 is the gas-to-coal switch already happening.

Here's what @Polymarket thinks about the US-Iran war: 1. 24% chance of a ceasefire by the end of April. 2. 13% chance that Strait of Hormuz returns to normal in April. 3. There’s a 63% chance that US forces will enter Iran by the end of April. 4. An 89% chance that the Iranian regime survives US military strikes. This tells us that market is leaning more towards escalation. The US is likely to initiate a ground invasion into Iran in April which then means that we're unlikely to see a near-term ceasefire. This is also suggests that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed in April. The longer the Strait is closed, the worse the impact on markets: - Oil prices stay elevated - US10Y will also rise - Risk assets continue to fall This energy supply shock has put us on the path towards a serious global growth slowdown/recession.

AROUND 15-18 SHIPS PASSED HORMUZ IN THE LAST 24 HOURS This is largest amount of traffic we've seen through the Strait of Hormuz since March 1st. Here are the previous numbers for context: Before the war, the Strait handled 130+ ships per day. Right now, we’re at roughly 10% of normal flow. But here’s the shift: Throughout most of March, traffic averaged just 2 ships/day. But now we’re consistently seeing double digits. So yes, it’s still low but it’s a meaningful improvement. That said, this won’t ease pressure on oil just yet. For that, the Strait needs to fully reopen at scale. We track the Strait of Hormuz traffic daily. Follow along if you want to stay ahead of this trend.

Brits. Do you remember him? 💔 This is Jake Marlowe, born in London. He was murdered by Gazan Terrorists. I can guarantee a lot of people in the UK don’t remember and that’s not their fault. It’s down to how quickly the media moved on and the propaganda ever since. An amazing soul. Former bassist in UK Hardcore band Desolated. May his memory forever be a blessing 🕯️ Rest in peace brother, you were loved by many. Picture from a friend of Jake’s @shirmor

So, let’s get this straight: it’s perfectly legitimate for a judge who is an open enthusiast for genocide in the Levant, to preside over a case of two people arrested for protesting against the genocide in the Levant? Surely genocide supporters should be disqualified from being judges at all?
Anti-zionist Movement@azm_org_uk

Judge was Daniel Sternberg. Sternberg is a board member of the movement for Reform Judaism, which elects Rabbis for the Board of Deputies of British Jews. Reform Judaism’s website shows clear links to ‘Israel’. Sternberg previously dismissed a case against Tommy Robinson.

IRAN’S IRGC ON TRUMP’S “STONE AGE” COMMENT: “It is you who are taking your soldiers to their graves, not Iran, whom you seek to drag back to the Stone Age. Hollywood delusions have so poisoned your minds that, with your paltry 250-year history, you threaten a civilization over 6,000 years old.”

Iran’s IRGC just bodied Trump with ‘Hollywood delusions vs 6,000-year civilization’ like they’re reading him for filth on live TV. Bro went from ‘Stone Age’ threats to getting schooled on history by the same guys he’s trying to drag back there. This exchange is pure reality-TV diplomacy popcorn not included

The last known jet fuel shipment from the Middle East bound for the UK is due to dock on Thursday. One ship. The Libyan-flagged Maetiga, loaded with jet fuel from Saudi Arabia, currently off the coast of Portugal. After that there are currently no other UK-bound cargoes from the region visible on the water. The UK phased out Russian jet fuel supplies and replaced them with fuel routed through the Strait of Hormuz. That route is now effectively closed. Europe sources around 40% of its jet fuel through the Hormuz chokepoint. The UK is particularly exposed, both directly and through imports routed via the Netherlands and Belgium. The maths on this is simple. If that ship docks Thursday and nothing follows, airlines have weeks not months before this becomes their problem. The UK government has told travellers not to worry yet. That is usually the moment to start doing something. Follow me to stay informed

Sooner or later it is going to dawn on Ed Miliband and the rest of the government that anger over Britain’s sky-high energy prices is not going to go away. They are no longer going to be able to conceal the obvious evidence that UK consumers and businesses are paying significantly more for their energy than their counterparts in comparable countries. They are also not going to get away with blaming the war in Iran, nor with maintaining the pretence that the government’s green policies are helping to bring down bills. ✍️ Ross Clark Article | spectator.com/article/ed-mil…

@ClaireCoutinho Norwegian gas is cleaner than UK North Sea gas. Also the emissions difference even for LNG is actually quite small, because the bulk of the emissions occurs when you burn it.

🚨NEW: In the middle of an energy supply crisis, Ed Miliband has just stalled the Jackdaw North Sea gas field project AGAIN. Jackdaw could be up and running in time for winter, producing enough gas to heat 1.6 million British homes. However, Ed’s priority is whether it fits into Net Zero and our international climate treaties. Never mind that we would be using higher emission imports of foreign gas if we don’t use Jackdaw. Imports don’t count in our emissions targets, so it’s a sneaky get around for Ed which will make us colder, poorer and less secure. Bad for the environment and for our economy.
