Hey guys! You must have heard about ADPList by now. Well if you haven't, take this as a sign from the algorithm. It's a platform where you can get personalized career mentorship. Yes, yes, free of charge. Book a mentor today at adplist.org
ADPList@ADPList

You only need one person to believe in you. For some of us, that person is a mentor. But finding the right one? That’s not always easy. Meet Christiana Ovoikariaomo Nwegbu, a Freelance UX Designer. In an interview, we asked her: 📌 "Tell us about a time a mentor believed in you when you didn’t believe in yourself. How did that change you?" Her response? "I’ve always believed in myself, but finding mentors who truly resonated with me was hard. That lack of validation made the journey lonelier. I pushed past it, doing my best, but I always wondered—how much further could I have gone with the right guidance? Most of the people I admired were either too high up the ladder or weren’t subject-matter experts in my field, so our connections never quite aligned for mentorship. Then, I came across ADPList. I could hardly believe it was real—personalized mentorship, often for free? I knew people gave advice in general settings, but this was something different. And for many like me, it was the opportunity we had been searching for. Through ADPList, I’ve received invaluable feedback and clarity on questions you can’t just Google or ask ChatGPT. The kind of advice that changes your perspective, your confidence, and ultimately, your career. A huge thanks to Felix Lee and the ADPList team for making this possible, and to all the mentors who share their time and knowledge.” Christiana’s story is an inspiration for everyone who has ever felt alone in their journey. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the right guidance can make all the difference. "Behind every great achiever is a mentor who believed in them first." We all have a story. ❤️ #OneADPList P.S. Tell us about a time someone believed in you.

Design has changed. Figma's CEO on the future of design and AI - "A designer's judgment, taste, and agency will matter more than ever." This is especially true with the rise of vibe coding. Important lessons from Dylan Field's convo at YC.

When some people call out their parents some people stay in their privileged lane and begin to gaslight them using religion and culture. What is more evil and heinous than what the parents of this girl did to her. Both failed hailed. The rapist father and the rape enabling mother. This girl had the courage to tell someone that should have protected her the most.

Imagine buying toothpaste from a trusted store only to find out it’s imitation. Baby toothpaste that they ingest for goodness sake! I didn’t even notice the difference, but I always taste anything I give my kids and that’s when I knew something was off.

@DrOlubamiji I'm so sorry about your experience. I can't imagine being treated like this by countrymen in a foreign land. I ought to mention though that we've had only good experiences at the Nigeria consulate Douala, @Cameroon. No bribery or need to know someone. Same day passport renewal.

Yesterday, I was at Nigeria House in New York with my family to get our passports. If I write about my experience, it will go viral. How they talked us down, treated us like we don’t matter, the inconsistencies in their processes, late arrivals of employees, lack of empathy and I was moved to tears. Let it be known that when diasporans try to stay patriotic to our country Nigeria, the systems kept making it difficult for us. We shouldn’t have to cry or plan to bribe or know that the system will not work. Why? No, I didn’t call anyone I knew to help me. I wanted to experience this like I didn’t know anyone and I am still in disbelief. Yes I want to write nice things about my country but when things aren’t working, it is also our responsibility to say it. I started asking myself why I wanted to renew this passport and why I wanted it for my child. That’s how much they humiliated us. Someone needs to look into the structures and systems running in our Nigeria embassies around the world, it needs to be looked at. Before leaving, I told them if I am pushed I will make sure to bring this to twitter and ensure the government knows what that are doing.

@OkiPeter_ @lucas4dominion @jay_mikee We know they're not ready because they brought their flags. What was the difference between the 2 thieves that were crucified with Christ? Let's not accept this liberal new world order mindset and mix it up with Christianity. It is not Our job to them is to preach not change them

I just found out that there was a pride flag on the movie set of THE CHOSEN series and one of the actors took to Twitter to defend it. Sigh* Pray for them, because this is really really not good.

@OkiPeter_ @Chy_ministers @jay_mikee You must understand the spirit we are talking about. Thieves don't come with a flag saying give us equal rights to be thieves, or we were born like that, or we sef dey here on set. Rightly discern please. Guard your heart diligently. The enemy is not joking.

@Chy_ministers @jay_mikee Yea I get you. But the question is if people carry a flag showing what sin they commit should the be prevented from coming to church , I thought the church is where renewal of mindset occurs

@OkiPeter_ @Chy_ministers @jay_mikee Actually no, church is where the saints are equipped. They shouldn't be STOPPED but church really isn't for them. As many as believed were ADDED to their numbers. That's Church. Our lives and evangelism to them is how they are preached to. If they believe, then they come...

@OkiPeter_ @AkinProsper @jay_mikee Scared? Sir, I think you are mistaken. The church are the called out ones. As many as believed, were ADDED. That's the order. I believe you have bought a lie. No sinner EVER brought their flag of sinnerhood before Christ. They dropped it as they heard and then came.
