Swalwell has spent years claiming that the FBI "exonerated" him. That's completely untrue. The FBI actually warned Pelosi and McCarthy about putting him on the intel committee. It's not established. No one has even credibly charged that, although who knows? What is known is that a Chinese spy Christine Fang insinuated herself into his inner circle. The 2020 Axios article said she had sexual relations with two unnamed midwestern mayors, but did not allege that about Swalwell.
