Transforming Delhi

Alert! I ordered linen trousers from @myntra (sold by Iconic Fashion Retailing Pvt Ltd). Delivery was delayed from 10th May to 13th May. Since I was out of town, my security guard received the package. Opened it today and found only a random piece of cloth inside — no trousers. Myntra is now refusing to take any action or initiate a return/refund. What should i do now? I have been a customer for a long time. Will never buy from @myntra again.

I have directed the Department of Consumer Affairs and CCPA to investigate whether online ticket booking platforms are imposing excessive cancellation charges on consumers, beyond what is charged by airlines or disclosed at the time of booking. Have directed them to check other online ticket booking platforms too. Such practices undermine transparency and consumer trust and, if found to be unfair or in violation of consumer rights, may amount to Unfair Trade Practices under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. CCPA will take necessary action, including class action measures wherever appropriate, to protect consumer interests and ensure fair treatment of consumers. @JagoGrahakJago

Booked an @AkasaAir ticket via @agoda and accidentally selected Navi Mumbai instead of Mumbai. Tried cancelling via Agoda - they showed a cancellation fee of ₹4,764 and refund of just ₹1,571. Then I checked directly with Akasa Air. Akasa Air’s own cancellation page shows: • Total deduction: ₹299 • Refund amount: ₹6,076 Akasa customer care also confirmed the airline cancellation charge is only ₹299, and since the booking was made through Agoda, the refund would go back to Agoda. So the obvious question: If the airline is deducting only ₹299, why is Agoda charging me ₹4,764? That’s an extra ₹4,465 for what exactly? Charging 15x the airline’s actual cancellation fee for the same ticket feels completely unethical. @agodaindia please explain this loot. @AkasaAir passengers deserve transparency from booking partners. @jagograhakjago @MoCA_GoI
