PATROL CAR COLLISION Driver collides into the back of a WSP Patrol vehicle causing minor injuries to the trooper. The collision occurred on WB I-90 MP 75 Trooper received minor injuries, but was transported to the hospital.

@WSDOT_East @wspd6pio Curious: I want to hear the story of how the road got closed. 50 miles of road that is so damaged crews can't even get to it. Someone made very quick calls with a lot happening at once, impressed that the closures were in time to keep people safe. Story to tell!

(1/3) US 2 Stevens Pass will remain closed through the weekend between Skykomish and Leavenworth (MP 50-99) due to water and debris over the road in multiple locations. There is no estimated time to reopen. US 97 Blewett and SR 28 through Quincy are alternate routes. @wspd6pio

Washington is proud to be the best state for women's sports in the country. As a softball dad, women's sports is a big part of my life. I asked my daughter Katie what softball has meant to her, and she said it was character building. That's the best answer I could've gotten as a parent. I'm grateful for all the role models who have broken barriers to inspire Washingtonians like my daughter do great things on and off the field. Happy Women in Sports Month!

UPDATE #3: WSDOT and contractor crews made great progress overnight, removing the damaged westbound Bullfrog Road overpass. With the span now removed, crews are clearing debris from the demolition site. Target is still to reopen the westbound lanes by early next week.

Westbound I-90 is closed at Ellensburg (MP 106) due to a semi collision that is fully blocking the westbound lanes at MP 93.

@hockypro @SnoqualmiePass Obviously you dont know anything about construction. Once the temperature reaches a certain point, concrete will not cure to meet state requirements. Hence the reason they have a short window in the summer to do the projects.

@SnoqualmiePass I have never seen road projects last as long as they do in Washington and then have them not last and have to do it all over again with changes that are questionable at best..!!!

We are seeing delays and added travel time on EB I-90 between Kittitas (MP 115) and Vantage (MP 136) due to heavy traffic and lane closures for bridge deck repairs.
