@MJKelleyII So, obviously, you're engagement farming bc, as a Christian, you would also believe that those w/ God are alive. I urge you to reflect on how monetizing clicks has affected your personal relationship with God. Unless I've missed something and you're just kinda stupid.

@DonavanSorcha @Truth_matters20 You're exactly the reason personal interpretation isn't a good idea. Every milkmaid and chud has their own take, to paraphrase Martin Luther

@needGod_net Sorry sorry sorry, are you accusing CATHOLICS of espousing personal interpretation of Scripture? You're accusing the only denomination with a MAGISTERIUM and Ex CATHEDRA of this?

Christians: "Trust in Jesus in what he has DONE for you." Catholics: "Trust in Jesus in what he tells YOU to do." Which one is relying on themselves to save them?

Christians want atheists to make a clear distinction between denominations - weeding out their false teachers and flawed theology so we can reject the “right one”.

I’ve learned two things the last couple of days: 1) Christians have an unhealthy relationship with conspiracy theories. 2) An alarming amount young Christian men online seem to have little issue with National Socialism or adjacent ideology.

@TiffanyFong Not only have I seen a homeless Asian person, I've handcuffed one. He ran up on us with a knife while escorting a dignitary. We would have been within our rights to shoot and kill him, but the dignitary begged us not to so we went out of our way to just get him on the ground.

People need to remember that the World Cup is no excuse to persecute minorities. Aggressively displaying far right flags & bigoted bunting is NEVER acceptable. Diversity must not be placed in jeopardy simply because the football is on. Councils need to take firm action.

@AzPetrich Anyone posting Megan Rapinoe instead of Alex Morgan as the paradigm of the USWNT is only performatively interested in women's soccer.

@NFLosophy Belgium is a good, but not outstanding, team that had a great day. The USA is a pretty good team that had a horrible day. Belgium stands no chance against Spain.

Question for the (fut)ball knowers out there. Is Belgium very good and have a chance vs. Spain today, or is the US just that embarrassingly bad?

@Daveravedave "North America" Like we're a different species. I didn't know what your point is either. Are you mocking N.A. natives? Blacks? Then shame on you. The rest of us are just also Europeans who moved here anywhere from 400 years ago to yesterday, in which case the point is moot.

Europe gave the world Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Cricket, Rugby, Snooker, Darts North America gave the “world” American Football (Rugby for pussies), Basketball, Baseball (originated in Europe) Guess which sports are played globally and which aren’t. No one cares about their sports

When my son was 8 he was an elite soccer player. In a completely non competitive participation trophy league. He'd routinely score a hat trick before half time. Then the coach would put him in goal. Of course that meant the other team wouldn't score. So they started putting him on the other team for the second half. A couple times he scored a hat trick for both teams. And he hated it. Because he wanted to win. Moving to place where there was more competition wasn't an option. By the time he was 11 we'd moved on to guitar. And he became an elite guitar player. In the US, the problem isn't the players - it's the youth leagues.

So when investigators provide evidence that FIFA has been colluding with Kalshi and Argentina (and possibly Israel), are Europeans finally going to see why that red card reversal was just, or is the USA just going to be the bad guy no matter what?

@THEbadgermaniac The fact that Western Europeans are still bitching about the USA overturning a wrongful red card, but ain't saying shit about all the bullshit Argentina is obviously up to, just goes to show what hypocritical and jealous cucks they are

@CoachGavM Both my son & daughter are on teams ranked top 50 in US and Canada. Half the kids are phenoms. The other half have rich parents who subsidize the team. I'd like my kids to be able to play w 100% the kids who take it seriously, & not the kids whose parents want bragging rights

Every time the USMNT falls short, the conversation goes straight to pay-to-play. I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately, and I keep coming back to the same question. If youth soccer became completely FREE tomorrow, would we automatically develop better players? I don’t think so. Would we suddenly have better coaches? Would coach development become more meaningful, or would we still treat licensing as a box to tick? Would training environments improve? Would leagues, clubs, and tournaments suddenly align around what we say is best for children? I don’t think any of that changes. What develops players isn’t simply getting them into the game. It’s what they experience once they’re there. The environment. The coaching. The standards. The decisions adults make every single day. So maybe the question isn’t just who pays. Maybe it’s whether we’re creating environments that actually help children become better players. Because that’s the part of the system we can choose to improve.
