This definition of forgiveness is a problem. To say that forgiveness doesn't fix anything shows a deep misunderstanding of what the word means and turns forgiveness into therapeutic and feelings based.
Christ's forgiveness did fix something and allows us to be reconciled to God.

The digital revolution hasn't created new sins; it has made old sins far more accessible.
What once required effort - seeking out a person, a place, or a product of temptation - now takes nothing more than a tap or swipe. Sin that used to lurk outside the home now enters through glowing screens, reaching our children in their most private spaces.
We no longer have to go looking for temptation. Temptation comes looking for us.
