@AnnieAndrewsMD People in red districts do better from a government standpoint than those in blue ones.

If Republicans erase Jim Clyburn’s district, I will do everything in my power to help Democrats flip every last one of South Carolina’s newly-drawn districts. And that’s a promise.

@JamesTate121 So 140 million jobs don’t. I hope those people are married to someone who makes more or is living at home with their parents.

@ItsLulu_7 The people who participate in capitalism enjoy a successful life and those who don’t get on here to complain. Sucks for you.

Gavin Newsom just gave a TWO-HOUR presentation, took 41 questions RAPID FIRE, and laid out a detailed budget plan for a $0 deficit THIS YEAR, a $0 deficit NEXT YEAR, and cutting California’s long-term structural deficit by 50% the year after that.  No notes at the podium. Every number memorized. Nobody can do what he does right now. Certainly not DONALD TRUMP!!!!!

If a burger flipper is married to someone making 75k a year they won’t have a miserable life depending on where they live. I don’t think companies and employers and the government have a duty to pay someone any amount they say they need to not have a miserable life. That’s not standard at all.

@TreyGolfFish @mcsquared34 Buddy you are writing paragraphs of nothing and still haven't answered any of my questions. Does a burger flipper deserve to live a non-miserable life? A cleaner? A waitress? You smell like clasism and superiority complex.

He is not, him and the ceos are over there to get China to let their people to buy our products and make profits for our companies to expand and hire more that then pay more taxes and expand the stock market and help with retirements. Geez dude. You are a clown. A childish clown. Democrats will say the most retarded stuff just to try to oppose anything related to trump. It’s boring. You are boring.

If Trump allows trillions of dollars for Chinese companies to enter the US with no labor laws or unions, our American workers will suffer. He should have taken manufacturers, farmers, & steel workers to China instead of the global financial elite who betrayed American workers. @jrpsaki

When you don’t pull your weight, when you don’t start a business, when you have to get government assistance, that many more people have to do better than you to make up for you. They have to not only do better to make sure they themselves are not like you, but they have to do extra and do without to make up for the shortfall of others. Most people do it willingly to the tune of paying 5 trillion a year in taxes and spending another 20 trillion in a private economy and another 100 billion In charitable donations and millions of hours of volunteer work. Has never gotten a thanks from the government. Only gotten more bills, more guilt, more scorn. Not a healthy way to run a free society. Most of the people complaining are the lower middle class in big cities. You have to be rich or below poverty to either afford or get taken care of. Lower middle class does not get help, and can’t afford to live there. That’s not a taxpayer problem.

@TreyGolfFish @mcsquared34 How do you save when you don't have a living wage?? What is this childish idea that everyone can be their own boss and have their own business? Are you incredibly naive or just stupid?

If you work for 40 years from 20 - 60 and at no time ever achieve a living wage then you are lost and hopefully your kid learned lessons not what to do but what not to do. Not everyone needs to own their own business but I think you should try before I have to pay more taxes to cover for you.

No what I think is that wages are tied to the type of job you do and your skills. Your bills are not part of the equation. What I want is the person who cleans toilets does it for 5 years, suffers some, sacrifices some but saves some. Then uses the savings along with a small loan to get a home cleaning or commercial cleaning business up and running. I know for a fact that an illegal alien that is 25 years old with a sister and niece can schedule about 40 house cleanings a month, get paid cash, make about 12k cash each month without speaking English and the person who has been an American for 5 generations but is just lazy can’t, and need people like you to tell me I should work more and pay extra taxes and do without things I could afford on my own bc the poor American is just too lazy. Don’t buy it.

@TreyGolfFish @mcsquared34 That's not what i said, buddy. If we are building strawmen i may ask if you think people working minimal wage jobs deserve a miserable life because of that? "Someone has to clean the toilets... And i sure hope anyone who does it suffer" ass logic.

@Matiqliao1 @mcsquared34 Says who where and why? That has never been the case ever. There are 350 million different levels of bills in America. Should every single person be paid what it costs to pay their bills?

Why don’t we just ask the poor to be less lazy. Every human should be expected to contribute to society. Before you tax more, you have to first make sure everyone who can contribute is and that no one is defrauding. You have to solve for that before you are allowed to tax more. Why would it be any other way?

@Shilldestroyer0 @WestLoopTom @MetamateDaz Well they can opt in but with risk comes reward. Social security is the worst savings account in the world. The system is not broken, people are. Most people are not abject poor renters in a city.

This is not a thing. You do not get to vote for a candidate of your choice. White people don’t get this. You get to vote for the candidates that run in primaries and elections. What are you even saying? Black people get a special vote to vote for who? Are you arguing that black people in a majority republican district cannot vote for the democrat running in that district against the republican?
