NBC confirms for the first time what many of us already suspected or knew: the Iranian Air Force bombed US bases in the opening phase of the war.

If semis are broadening out beyond the CUDA ecosystem, how exactly is China not going to dominate it?

> be Anthropic > ship Claude Code > change coding forever > hit a $380B valuation > dominate 2025 and 2026 so hard $1.25T SpaceXAI and $852B OpenAI momentarily look kinda mid > whole world gets a Mythos boner > but then bugs arrive and some never leave > compute starts drying up mid stroke on your keyboard session > usage restrictions start randomly tightening with zero notice > 4.6 and 4.7 start gaslighting and lying to users > ship Claude Design, but throttle it on a second meter so users pay twice or upgrade > randomly drop a $100/mo Claude Code minimum, walk it back 48 hours later, and confuse everyone > team members go silent on usage questions until the PR team lands back later with scripted answers > my own Claude is even telling me "Your org is out of extra usage" when my org is clearly not out of usage > meanwhile SpaceXAI maybe just dropped a casual $60B to acquire Cursor and eat up their coding gaps wtf is happening over here who's running Anthropic's PR team??? and Dario... why are you doing our bro Claude like this? from everyone's #1 AI to the most hated overnight quite ironic when you think about it is it too late for Claude after the Cursor deal? is it Grok and OpenAI's turn now? or will Dario flip the switch back? ngl I have a lot of thoughts on this...

@CRUDEOIL231 As a scheduler/analyst who was working before 2023. The biggest difference from pre ai to now imo is the ability to rapidly iterate. Whereas before if I committed to doing something, the cost / benefit from pivoting was way higher to where it is now with Claude code.

First Sam Altman, and now Sneako?! WTF IS HAPPENING TO THE WORLD! THESE ARE MY TWO FAVORITE PEOPLE!!!!!!
R A W S A L E R T S@rawsalerts

🚨#BREAKING: Watch as Kick streamer Sneako is attacked and punched extremely hard in the face after telling his chat “you deserve to be publicly executed,” when a possible stream sniper or a random man on a busy New York City street confronts him, sparking a sudden and chaotic altercation caught on camera.

Has every single foreign politician that's been endorsed (or indirectly linked) to trump lost? and polymarket is still saying it's ~50/50 for the Senate. Smh

@amensch__ It's probably a bluff. But the insanity of it is that if the markets take him seriously, it'll be a disaster.

Just taking a step back to appreciate the strategic double bind Trump is in: - If he gives into Iranian demands, the Democrats will crush him with his own rhetoric, portray him as weak, point out that "gave more money" to Iran than Obama did. The Iranians are holding firm in their demands and refusing to give in to pressure. The Israelis can blow up a deal at any moment, and Trump is clearly too weak to restrain them. - If he escalates he'll just double down on being responsible for sending gas to $6+ dollars a gallon and triggering a global economic depression. The longer the war drags out, the worse it'll be. There's no clear path to victory, and any deal he might be able to put together at a later date is likely to be even less favorable than the one he just refused. He's chosen to resolve this, apparently, by accelerating the negative economic effects of the war without directly attacking Iran. It makes no sense because there's no way out of this trap. This conflict is probably the most egregious unforced foreign policy error in American history.

Honored to accept honorary Albanian citizenship, not just as a personal distinction, but as a reflection of the deep and lasting bond between New York City and the Albanian people. NYC is home to one of the strongest Albanian communities in America, hardworking, proud, and deeply rooted in our city. I accept this honor on their behalf and in recognition of the shared values that connect us: family, resilience, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to community. Thank you to @ediramaal, @BajramBegajAL, and the people of Albania for this meaningful recognition. New York is the global capital, and this only strengthens the bridge between our communities.

BREAKING : This is absolute 6D Chess by Iran’s FM Araghchi 🔥 25th March — 🇮🇷 Iran told Trump thag they will negotiate only with Vice President JD Vance, and nobody else 11th April — 🇺🇸 JD Vance flew to Pakistan to negotiate with Iran 🤣 Trump thought he would change the regime in Iran, but now Iran is literally setting up a possible future regime change in the US. What a brilliant setup by Araghchi 🍿

@citrinowicz Iran can over play their hormuz cards if they let the blockade last too long. If they want to use this war to become an accepted power within the world structure, creating a depression is a bad first start.

This dynamic becomes even more problematic when asking a fundamental question: what real leverage does the U.S. administration have over Iran? The answer is far from clear. There is a growing perception that many of Washington’s threats, whether references to “new weapons” or even the prospect of large-scale destruction of Iran’s civilian infrastructure, are unlikely to shift Tehran’s core positions. From Iran’s perspective, deterrence is not just about capabilities but about resolve. Tehran appears to assess that it can absorb, or retaliate against, any pressure imposed by the U.S. and Israel, and ultimately extract a higher price than what is being demanded of it. In other words, Iran’s leadership may believe that the cost of standing firm is lower than the cost of conceding. If Iran does not feel meaningfully constrained, and the U.S. is simultaneously unwilling to sustain a prolonged and complex negotiation process, the result is a narrow diplomatic space with limited chances for a durable, comprehensive agreement.
Gregory Brew@gbrew24

Iran's only leverage is its demonstrated ability to impose massive economic costs on the entire world at will and for an undetermined length of time.
