I’m extremely glad Rupert Lowe has resurrected this fantastic poster, because it reminds everyone exactly why Reform UK were elected in Lincolnshire: taxpayers were fed up with wasteful spending and endless bureaucracy. 💸 However let’s focus on the specific £200,000 he is talking about. In just 12 months, Reform UK in Lincolnshire has: 🚫 CANCELLED the Best Start Inclusion Service, which was providing additional translation services and targeted support for ethic minority groups over and above the universal offer currently available to all families in the county — SAVING Lincolnshire taxpayers £130,000 every single year! 🤖 We’ve also begun working with our IT partners to explore modern digital and AI translation solutions, reducing reliance on expensive traditional interpretation services and potentially saving thousands more. ⚠️ However we must be clear that until National legislation is changed, digital translation can only be utilised solely for low-risk interactions, following appropriate information governance checks, and can not replace qualified interpreters for safeguarding matters, statutory assessments, or situations involving complex decision-making. 👏 On top of that, our fantastic Mayor Andrea Jenkyns has also proposed to scrap ESOL that spends £1 million on teaching English as a foreign language, instead spending that money on Lincolnshire folk. 🇬🇧 This is what Reform UK promised: common sense, efficiency, and putting British taxpayers first! I have got a question for you though Roops - are people still confusing you with Ed Davey? 🤭 #restorenonsense #ToryFailure #CountyCouncil #lincolnshire #rupertlowe #ReformUK #eddavey @reformparty_uk @TiceRichard @Nigel_Farage @ZiaYusufUK @drdavidbull

We know that Reform councils are spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on foreign language translation. Reform people have got very upset with me pointing that out... So, let's take a look at the evidence. This below is what Reform posted on the 25th of March 2025 about Lincolnshire County Council. "£200,000 wasted on translation, interpretation and language services last year alone." If they thought they couldn't change it, why campaign on that point? They then won that council. Full control. What did they do? Upped the spend on foreign language translation services - splurging thousands and thousands more on translation for foreign languages. According to our investigation, they spent £272,245 in their first year in charge. Up from £244,947 the year before. Reform have claimed it's the law to provide foreign language translation services. Two points. If that's the case, why were they pushing this line before the election? Secondly, and more importantly. They're wrong. A Written Ministerial Statement by the former Communities Secretary stated the following... "Of course, local authorities must comply with the duties set out in the Equalities Act 2010, including the duty not to discriminate and the public sector equality duty. But this is not a legal duty to translate documents into foreign languages." Our FOI investigations have shown that across Reform councils they're spending VAST amounts of money on translation into Arabic, Kurdish and whatever else. We've got the stats from right across their councils. It is a scandalous waste. They are all talk. When it comes to delivering, they have made things worse - wasting thousands on Arabic translation costs. A total betrayal. Let me be clear about Restore Britain's position. We would scrap ALL foreign language translation/interpretation in the public sector. You live in England, you speak English. End of story. There is finally a political party willing to do what needs to be done. Restore Britain.

Joyful meeting with @theSNP Perthshire North Constituency Association today. I expressed my deepest thanks to everyone who campaigned locally to secure our election success. Good to have my constituency colleague and our new Westminster Leader @DaveDooganSNP there too.

This is @RupertLowe10 a racist and bigot deliberately announcing a Restore candidate to stand in the Makerfield by-election. Rupert knows this will aid Andy Burnham's bid for number 10 by splitting the vote away from Reform. It's puzzling, as he's aware that a vote for Restore Britain is, in effect, a vote for Labour. One would expect any decent patriotic person as he likes to call himself would not field a candidate in this by-election to give Reform a stronger chance to beat EU loving Andy Burnham.

Burnham has no chance at winning at Makerfield. It will be between Reform and restore. Plus no matter who wins the labour leadership, Raynor, Miliband, Steeting or Burnham, they are all as bad as one another, & will still get their same orders from above. The delusion that Burnham will win if Restore stand, and that he will be so much worse than any other crazy lefty chosen to become the next leader is fiction. If Restore do not stand, if they roll over and submit to Reform, then Reform will get the easiest of wins ever. Reform would get loads of media coverage, and supporters will become even more emboldened and arrogant than they already are. The battle for Makerfield will be such good media coverage for Restore. It will no doubt be between Restore and Reform, and could have a huge influence over who wins the next GE. While you believe it's highly important that Restore do not stand a candidate, I have the opposite opinion. I see it as highly important for Restore to stand a candidate in order to show the whole of the UK that we are the true right wing party, and that we are growing at an incredibly fast pace. The media is is trying to hide the fact Restore are growing so fast, reform are hiding it, their news outlet GBnews are hiding it, they don't interview restore, or talk about them. Sone propaganda has been planted around x that is causing you to panic and to not think clearly. I say it is vitally important for Restore to stand, and that there is no chance of Labour getting in the top 2, they will end up in third place at best 💯 👋🏻

If the Tories lose their deposit in the Makerfield by-election, I’m a bit worried that CCHQ will release a statement saying “it’s a fantastic result and we’re back!”

@KateWilton1 A fair few labour supporters will not go for this. The wider electorate will love it. But they're not allowed a vote.
