@benhuncc Stop with the excel sheet nonsense. Kon becoming the player he’s capable of being which is probably a top 10 guy does not involve LaMelo Ball taking 18 shots a game while Kon gets 13 shots while shooting 49%. And Kon making up for LaMelo lack of D. Lamelo does not complement Kon.

@StataraHQ @Underdog This is incorrect, the hornets have 4.7 net rating which is good for the sixth best in the league. for a team that was once -2.0 in net rating at the start of the season, that's a lot of improvement.

Here’s what that stat doesn’t tell you:
Charlotte is 38-34.
Their overall net rating is +2.5 per game.
Meaning when they lose, they get destroyed.
Win by 18. Lose by 15. Repeat.
+18.1 in wins looks like a dynasty.
+2.5 overall looks like what it is.
A slightly above .500 team with a highlight reel.
Stats without context aren’t analysis.
They’re a magic trick.

Moussa is not a long term starting center right now. If he gets better then fine. He works well for us now because the Hornets are a young team trying to figure out winning.
But I promise you unless the Hornets get some high-end talent elsewhere so that we can cheap out on center, Moussa is not going to be a starting center for a team that’s fight for a top 4 seed. It works now sure but I’m speaking in the sense of a contending team or a team aspiring to be contenders.
