@femiogunleye9 Embrace peace but 30,000 were killed during progrom
English

Prior to the 1967 Biafra War, the then Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, sent Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Professor Aluko, and other members of the NOC Committee to Enugu to plead with Ojukwu to embrace peace and avoid war. However, Ojukwu boasted that he had the largest Black army in the world and was prepared for war.
When the war eventually began, millions of Ibos suffered greatly, while Ojukwu later fled to Ivory Coast. After the war, Gowon pursued a policy of “No Victor, No Vanquished” and reintegrated the Ibos back into Nigeria. Awolowo, who served as Minister of Finance, also introduced the 20-pound compensation policy for many Ibo account holders who lost access to their bank savings during the war.
Ironically, ibo people still regard Ojukwu who ran away to ivory coast as hero, while those who advocated for peace and post-war reconciliation are viewed negatively.

@adefunmiloro @vanguardngrnews To fight for his people, funny enough the deaths of his own people are what fill news headlines,I made two distinctions and you know who belongs to who....
One is a true freedom fighter, the other is making the mistake of Afonja of course not only, every leader from the...you know

@adefunmiloro @vanguardngrnews Interestingly, someone is more aware of Nigeria's distress. Why it can never be compatible with us having this union to begin with, he gives enlightenment even to people that despise him, I mean he went to prison for it and there's someone who claims that he takes federal....

59 YEARS OF BIAFRA: Ojukwu’s restructuring offer re-echoes

@adefunmiloro @vanguardngrnews Sha unah dey enjoy the effort of old and modern Yoruba leaders in Oyo, Ibadan, and more is to come

@vanguardngrnews This loser and a coward never offer any restructuring. He was a bloodthirsty savage.

South east is landlock. Why do you guys make rubbish out of nonsense?
You would expect Akwa ibom, cross river and Rivers even Bayelsa that has very large space in the Atlantic ocean to be sidelined for Anambra? And Abia or Imo? Who only have Rivers that that still passes through the Akwa ibom cross river and Rivers to the Atlantic ocean. Does that even make sense to you?
English

So Anambra that has one of the biggest and busiest markets in the country was not approved for a seaport project; Not even a South-Eastern state.
But Lagos and Ondo States (South-West region), along with Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Rivers states (South-South) all made the list.
Again, not one South-East state was considered even when it's possible to embark on such project. This reeks of obvious neglect.
English

@DanielRegha Anambra doesn't have any river deep enough to have a port.
To dredge a seaport in any part of anambra will come at a huge cost both environmental and financial.

@ruffydfire It is far more than a hypocritical and over-centralised Nigeria, I mean, who to hold accountable won't be a question
English

@ruffydfire I mean why do we avoid the system practised 1954-1966 when each region had a premier and controlled its activities we have 6 regions, extracting the middle belt will make it 7, 7 regional leaders each joining a presidential council, whose power will rotate every year among them
English

@ruffydfire "The system, the system", but you all are afraid of regionalism and for records nigeria is very ethnocentric, every single tribe in nigeria believes that whatever power which is heavily centralised to Abuja is theirs, so tell unah self truth
English

@PDPRepublic Nigeria is calling someone that called for confab weak, omoh nigeria blind true true

@TheAmenReigns I believe that the only change that we can attain, not only in Nigeria but in some African countries is complete division and manageable a well highly practiced regionalism

@DanielRegha Gumi is not a terrorist apologist, get your facts right. Most of y'all can't even listen and comprehend intelligence conversations but can quickly jump on propaganda that's how y'all label Abba kyari as a terrible person but y'all are the brainwashed lots.
English

On the issue of insecurity that has led to loss of lives and properties:
-Peter Obi vows to declare war on terrorism if elected president in 2027.
-Atiku reiterates commitment to end insecurity as president.
-Tinubu states that insecurity keeps us sleepless, vows to defeat terrorism.
-El-Rufai as (Kaduna Governor) Vows to End Insecurity.
Meanwhile, none is calling for the arrest of Gumi, a well-known terrorist apologist. Here are our leaders.

@WalidPhares If you still think that these Westerners care about you, you're a fool. They're afraid of African unity. That's why they keep trying to divide Africa. What they did at the Berlin Conference is not enough.
WAKE UP AFRICA!
Slavery is a mentality. The White man is not your friend!
