@EllaCoo55777104 He's said on his podcast multiple times that migration is part of the problem...
English

“Migration is not the problem with housing”
Says this smart man !
Hope the Libs and One Nation stop their BS about migration … and stop attacking immigrants to get more votes .. 😡

@TDM_Jesus Prices are only melting down because China pushed them up in the first place
English

China has blown up skins prices to incredible levels over the last few years, and one of the unfortunate realities of that is that the process can also work in reverse. And currently that's what we're seeing - a VERY ugly meltdown.
As Chairman Xi would say, there's not much you can do about this except 'eat bitterness'. Prices will stabilise at a lower level , liquidity will pick up and traders will be able to rebuild from the new baseline.
And if its any comfort, given how artificial the crash is, its likely the turnaround will be quite rapid.

@AlboMP Is the fair go in the room with us? The same policies that have made generations of Australians wealthy have been wiped from existence for younger Australians, yet those very policies continue to serve the older generations you say you're protecting against. Protectionism.

@purplepingers Almost every Australian owns it through their super, not be celebrated

@JEChalmers Hi Jim,
I noticed that you took credit for the previous 3 rate cuts.
So, you’ll be taking full responsibility for the 3rd rate rises in a row, right?
The 16th rate rise since you took Government.

@Potstirrer111 Buy the electric Hilux, at least it won't depreciate like crazy like that KGM will
English

Test drove the only fully electric EV work Ute today for my electrical business.
My current old Ranger is costing me $100 a week on Diesel and $60 on maintenance cause it’s old.
This new ev will cost me $160 a week in repayments and $12 a week in electricity.
So $12 a week for a brand new car and no maintenance down time for repairs.
I recon I’ll get it.

@ausstockchick When the price drops and more properties can be positively geared with rent you'd probably see a huge amount of investment again. Plus the cost of replacement is extremely high. These are two large barriers keeping prices high. If we break through those barriers it would be crazy
English

I keep reading tweets about how Australian real estate will crash.
I can promise you. You’ll never see Covid prices for housing again. Even if prices decline.
A slowdown is possible but a huge crash?
Questionable.

@ausstockchick Young people given up, old people spending like crazy with the profits from property and stock market. You won't see many young families out and about, they're struggling to pay their mortgage repayments

Trying to make a booking for dinner in Perth tonight.
Between 5-8pm all good restaurants are booked out.
I don’t get it?
I thought people are pleading poverty?
Maybe we aren’t all broke after all?

@tropiccreates @AvidCommentator May I ask?
Was your Landlord an Aussie?
English

Another Saturday in Australia....
Where the rental crisis persists years after it ended in most of the Anglosphere, all of whom build less new homes per capita than us....
Drew Pavlou 🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇦🇹🇼@DrewPavlou
My overseas landlord sold my rental and now they want me to move out early for the new owners. They offered me $1000 to end my lease 4 months early even though the rental vacancy rate in Brisbane is 0.9%. Retarded.
