@profontheright It's truly amazing how the left can't tell the difference between journalism and activism. The difference is clear here. Don Lemon wasn't simply reporting the news. He was making the news. That's not journalism, it's activism and a constitutional rights violation.

@RepAngieCraig This isn't about journalism, it's about activism. Lemon, and the other activist 'journalists', took their cameras into a place of worship to record this attack on a fundamental constitutional right we all share. A true journalist would have remained outside.

Political differences aside, we should all be deeply concerned with this Administration’s repeated attempts to stifle freedom of the press. This is not what democracy looks like.

BREAKING: Trump's own Justice Department files charges against the MAGA maniac who attacked Ilhan Omar — destroying Trump's lie that she staged the assault herself. And it gets even better... Anthony Kazmierczak, the Trump supporter who attacked Congresswoman Omar at a town hall by spraying her with foul-smelling liquid while demanding that she "resign," had already been on booked state-level third-degree assault. Now, a federal criminal complaint has been unsealed that alleges the man "forcibly assaulted, opposed, impeded, intimidated an officer and employee of the United States" while she was conducting official duties, an incredibly serious crime. The FBI stated that Kazmierczak used a syringe to spray Omar with apple cider vinegar which “stained her clothes and may have reached her face and right eye.” The attacker is a hardcore MAGA supporter who allegedly has a history of making threatening statements against Omar, saying at one point that "somebody should kill that b*tch." His internet presence is littered with anti-Democratic messages. Kazmierczak’s own brother has stated that he is a "piece of sh*t" and a "right-wing extremist" who grew obsessed with Omar. “He has had a hatred of the Somali community for probably 20 years,” the brother said. “There’s a reason I don’t talk to him ... He’s got a lot of anger, I have no idea where it comes from. He’s always been that way. In and out of treatment since he was a kid.” Notably missing from the affidavit? Any allegation that Omar herself was involved in planning or staging the attack as some kind of false flag publicity stunt. That should come as no surprise to us sane individuals but Republicans online have already begun spreading deranged conspiracy theories about the attack, prompted by Trump himself. "No. I don't think about her," Trump said when asked about the attack. "I think she's a fraud. I really don't think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her." "I haven't seen it. No, no. I hope I don't have to bother," he added, referring to the video of the incident. Omar destroyed his disgusting remarks not long after. "It is ironic that just last night, he was on stage moments before I was attacked, talking about me," she said. "And then when asked about my attack, he said, 'I don't think about her.' Does he not remember? Is he suffering from dementia?" "How do you spend twenty, thirty minutes on stage obsessing over me by name multiple times, and then moments later say, Ilhan Omar, I don't think about her?" Omar added. Let's hope that this man goes away for a long, long time. Please ❤️ and share if you stand with Ilhan Omar.

@justinamash There is some ambiguity in the courts on the validity of your statement. It's not a blanket idea that ICE always needs a judicial warrant to enter a private area to make an arrest. The memo about the use of admin warrants on those who already had their day in court is valid.

JD Vance isn’t this stupid, so what he’s doing here is deliberate and evil. You don’t just need “some kind of warrant” to enter a home. You need a warrant from the judiciary. He knows this. He knows they’re breaking the law when they enter a home with an administrative warrant. He uses the phrase “administrative law judges” to mislead. An administrative warrant comes from DHS. They are writing their own “warrants,” which makes them no more valid under the Fourth Amendment than if a random person wrote on a piece of paper, “I can enter your house.”
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

JD Vance: "Nobody is talking about doing immigration enforcement without a warrant. We're talking about different types of warrants that exist in our system. Typically in the immigration system, those are handled by administrative law judges. So we're talking about getting warrants from them."

@walshpj You people don't understand how it works. A medical examiner determines the medical cause of death, not whether or not it is murder or self-defense. Of course, it's a homicide. That doesn't mean it was murder.

@jamie_raskin Beyond a reasonable doubt is something a judge or a jury decides, not a prosecutor. Of course a prosecutor for the Biden DOJ is going to believe that crap. Jack Smith is far from being objective when it comes to Trump.

Jack Smith found proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Now Trump wants the Special Counsel in prison, not because he did anything wrong—but because he did everything right.

@HistoryBoomer He never ordered her out of the vehicle, the others did.He was still on the passenger's side when she backed up, placing him in front of the vehicle. Sure, he was out of place when the order came for her to exit the vehicle, but none of that matters to the moment she drove at him

Here's how Renee Good doesn't die if Agent Ross is a trained cop. Ross drives up and parks his car behind her and a bit to the left. Before getting out of the car, he writes down her license number. Then he approaches her driver's side window, never getting behind her car (and no need to circle it). Good: "It's ok, dude. I'm not mad at you." Ross (bored deescalatory tone): "That's nice, ma'am. I need you to step out of the car for a moment." Good: "Something something." Ross (still bored) "I understand, ma'am, but I still need you to step out of the car." And so on. Either Good steps out and gets arrested, a proud protester, or she suddenly drives off, and they find her at home later and arrest her. Ross, at her side, remains in no danger. Instead, he drives past her. Circles her car filming with his cell phone in his right hand. Switches his phone to his left hand after one entire circuit to keep his right hand free for drawing his gun. Steps in front of her car so that when she tries to drive past him, he can quickly draw and shoot her three times. One shot through the front windshield, two through her open side window. It's one of the last two shots that kills her.
Ryan Goodman@rgoodlaw

As a lawyer, I've been waiting for this. Independent autopsy of Renee Good is in. Strong evidence against Agent Ross, given what it means about second or third shot through left-side window. It's second and third shots that make easiest criminal case of a willful killing. 1/2

@JoshuaMisrack @JoyceWhiteVance @grok No, it doesn't justify shooting corpses. Of course I believe my statement. It is factually correct. It happens every day in self-defense cases. If you ever train to use a firearm in self-defense you'll see, you don't just fire once.

@TroyMoseley8 @JoyceWhiteVance @grok “If the first shot was justified, so were shots 2 and 3.” You can’t believe this as a categorical statement. It would justify shooting corpses if you had good enough aim and were certain enough your first shot hit. But society generally frowns on that behavior.

If this is accurate, Good was killed by a bullet fired after there was any conceivable argument Agent Ross was in the path of her vehicle, which means there was no legal justification for using deadly force. But DOJ says there’s no reason to investigate, let alone prosecute.
Ryan Goodman@rgoodlaw

Add: I am going to avoid the gory details in these texts. NYT also reporting here: "Two of the gunshot wounds were not immediately life-threatening, the autopsy found." It appears to be bullet that appeared to go through the left-side window that was. nytimes.com/2026/01/21/us/…

@rgoodlaw As a lawyer, you should understand there's precedence here on that 2nd and 3rd shot. She presented a danger to that officer's safety and to anyone else in that immediate area. SCOTUS is clear on this. If the 1st shot is justified, then so are shots 2 and 3. You're wrong.

@SarahisCensored It happens faster when local law enforcement is willing to make the arrests after the act once a DA files charges and arrests warrants are issued. Things tend to go slower at the fed level while working alone.

Two laws were violated the moment those protesters stormed a church in Minnesota. This isn’t debatable. It’s not “interpretation.” It’s black-letter law. First, the FACE Act (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act of 1994). This law flatly prohibits using force, threats, or physical obstruction to intimidate or interfere with people exercising their First Amendment right to religious freedom at places of worship. What happened wasn’t peaceful protest… it was intimidation and interference, plain and simple. Second, the Ku Klux Klan Act (Enforcement Act of 1871). This civil-rights law was designed to stop coordinated efforts to strip people of their constitutional rights through intimidation or violence. While it was born out of Reconstruction and aimed at the KKK, it applies to any group conspiring to deny others their rights. Disrupting a church service to prevent people from worshipping absolutely fits that framework. The Department of Justice, including officials such as Harmeet Dhillon and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, has signaled an intent to pursue charges against the protesters, including Don Lemon. So here’s the obvious question: why has no one been arrested? Some are desperately trying to hide behind the claim that Don Lemon was “just a journalist.” That argument is nonsense. Journalism is not a get-out-of-jail-free card. Journalists have First Amendment protections, not immunity. The Constitution protects lawful speech and reporting… it does not protect criminal conduct, civil-rights violations, harassment, intimidation, threats, or conspiracies. And that’s the real issue here. No one has been arrested. Not one person. Why not?

@btbsoco It takes faith in God and a lot of courage not to respond in that moment. The time for them to respond is now. Not with violence, but with the legal system. They should press charges, file lawsuits, and lobby for political change. It's time for MN to go red.

@kiw1966 @DarkMatter2525 @Humanfilth2 Two things here. First, was the preacher preaching about ICE activities during service? No, he wasn't. Second, is there going to be immigration in Heaven? God will cast out those who fail to enter Heaven the correct way? So, quit defending this egregious behavior.

I wish your little pea brain were close to getting it!!!!!!!!!!! How it Differs from Modern Disruptions: Purpose: Jesus's action was a direct confrontation of corrupt religious practice within a sacred space, not an outside political protest during someone else's service. Focus: He was defending the integrity of worship, not protesting unrelated social issues during a service, making it a unique biblical event.
