Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens all have blood on their hands. This is what they have been pushing for with their rhetoric and attacks on Jews. I hope they are all held accountable. @TuckerCarlson @RealCandaceO @nickjfuentes Everyone should ostracize them from society.

Was the golden pager a threat to Donald Trump from Benjamin Netanyahu? @BretWeinstein weighs in: “What am I to make of the fact that you have these exploding pagers used to kill terrorists, obviously, that’s not the only people who were killed, but nonetheless, that was their purpose, and then one is delivered to Trump?”

@TPV_John Eh, no. Kirk may have moderated on his pure Zionism, but there’s no world where he renounces Trump. At best he’d try to occupy a middle space between the two camps: supporting Trump’s leadership and US military action while expressing doubt about foreign entanglement.

If Charlie Kirk was still around, he would have firmly and without reservation, RENOUNCED his support for Donald Trump AND Israel, at this stage. With the direction he was going in his mind, I have NO doubt about it. Especially, after the absolute fiasco surrounding the Epstein files and how Trump handled that, as well as taking us to war with Iran. He would have taken his entire young audience with him. They were well aware of that, too… That is one of the BIG reasons he had to go.

@owroot You don’t want to be in a position where your children hope you die. Like it or not, as parents, even as parents of adults, you have a responsibility to your lineage. Not saying you can’t have fun or setup retirement, but exhausting everything for yourself is selfish

There's something very lame about these tales. These ostensibly adult guys whining about how they thought they were entitled to something they weren't. Wanting mom and dad to "make them a millionaire." Something very unbecoming, kind of pitiful, and very entitled. People like to act like in the grand old days people had a sense of stewardship and would help their children blah blah blah. Yeah, maybe some if they had some money, but certainly not if they were entitled brats and thinking you deserve your parents house and that they will move from their house into the grave is extremely entitled. People think they deserve more now than ever before in the past. The fact he's an only child is the buried lede here. Spoiled only children often have main character syndrome and think the world revolves around them because for all of their childhood it kind of does. Of course he thought his parents would just somehow, in their last dying breath, care only about him and nothing else. Lastly, I wonder how many people like this even have families of their own. Sorry to break it to you, but if you are a single person with no children why would you think you would deserve any inheritance? You are making the choice not to carry on the family so why would you deserve anything? You are only one person, you're fine on your own.

a friend’s boomer parents bought their home for $67,000 in 1993. Today, it’s worth ~$1,200,000 and he’s their only son so he thought he’d be a millionaire when they die but they just sold the house last week to enjoy their retirement 💀

@yarokarabo @OunkaOnX There was a time when a textile merchant could buy a brownstone in Brooklyn. People shouldn’t be priced out of their homeland. Shapiro holds that standard with Israel, but treats the US as a mere economic zone

Sometimes I'm just struck by how disproportionately amazing the 2000s were for movies. Go back and just look at the lineup for those 10 years. Just a whole lot of top-shelf talent across the industry all hitting their stride at the same time. Hard to imagine it recurring.

@NoInnrMonologue @Rblv73 There are many connections the biblical writers make which seem puzzling to us as moderns. (Gen 31.31-32). But they were obvious to the orig audience b/c they operated in a different paradigm. Many of the “extra scriptural dogmas” are logical outgrowths of an ancient heuristic

@BibleInContext1 Modern people import modern baggage into their reading of ancient texts. We make innumerable assumptions when we read a passage, and unless we labor to reclaim an ancient worldview, we’re going to have an inferior grasp of the Bible. The Church Fathers are invaluable for that

A big thing that God gave us as humans is our reason: we live more fully the way he desires if we use it. Humans have realized that some milk has dangerous pathogens, & discovered a cheep & effective way to eliminate the vast majority. Choosing not to use this method (pasteurization) seems more distrustful of God's wisdom for us than using what the wisdom he gave us discovered.

I don’t understand people’s obsession with traveling. I’ve been to several different countries and tbh it’s just boring and feels like just some giant cope people do when they just have 0 purpose. Like congrats you paid thousands of dollars to be around dirty nasty foreigners who hate you just to see the same exact sights you could see in America all because you hate yourself and your life

@dissproportion As a parent, albeit one of small children, I’m not especially interested in spending gobs of money on myself in retirement. I’d much rather use a good chunk to allow my children the advantages I didn’t have. Maybe it’s won’t be generational wealth, but a leg up is huge

I’m getting really tired of these takes. Why should this guy’s parents *not* enjoy their retirement, and why doesn’t he want them to be doing whatever makes them happy for the last years of their life? Because he wants money? Are we all owed our parents’ money to the fullest extent possible? He grew up in that nice house and his parents fed him and loved him and worked jobs that made his little life possible, on whatever scale they could manage. Now that they’re retired, they should just keep on giving, like the goddamn Giving Tree until they’re stumps in the ground? A million dollars isn’t going to set him up for life or give him intergenerational wealth, it’s going to make an old couple comfortable for twenty years, maybe. And that’s too much for them to want for themselves? What a bunch of whiny spoiled entitled losers you people are. Make your own life and stop counting other people’s money. It was never yours.

@Watchman_motto We have small children, but we’re fine with our daughter living with us until she gets married. Even our sons, although the parameters would probably be different. We’ve toyed with the idea of charging rent just as a savings account. Something like that could have changed my life

Low class mentality. I would, however, charge a small rent and then keep that money set aside for the actual time to move out. Your kids, especially your daughters, should have a good reason to move out on their own. This attitude of kicking kids out when they turn 18 just destroys any chance for a family legacy. I try to instill in my kids, your brother is on your side, your sisters are on your side. It’s us against the world, so to speak. You help each other succeed, we help you succeed. We win together.
SonnyBoy🇺🇸@gotrice2024

This man complains that his daughter stays in her room all day and doesn’t enjoy talking to him and his wife. Whenever she does come down for food or water, he’s always reminding her that when she turns 18 either she can move out or pay rent. I never understood why people do this as a scare tactic to teach kids responsible. Is it possible that his interactions like this is actually damaging his relationship with his daughter. Isn’t he giving her a vibe that he doesn’t want her around or is this a part of teaching her responsibility?
