The fact is that 1. When Abiy took power, Ethiopia had a better economy. 2. He destroyed Ethiopia in terms of economy, security, and its mere existence. 3. The number of people starving now is greater than at any time in Ethiopian history.

The PP cadres gang are circulating news from 17 years ago - 🇪🇹 was the 4th most starving country. It’s in reaction to the recent news that ranks 🇪🇹 as the 5th most starving. They are dumb to realize that they are essentially admitting that Abiy hasn’t made any improvements.

Thank you to everyone who cast their vote! We have reached a strong consensus that he will not be employed as a professional worker anywhere other than Ethiopia !

Enatalem recounts: I came from Benishangul-Gumuz in the town of Gilgel Beles. I saw where breast were cut from woman and where human flesh was taken and eaten by those Gumuz militia. When I was working in Gilgel Beles I was selling a local alcohol called Talah. Gumuz men came to my home to buy the local alcohol and they asked me for onion and Mitmita (spices). They claimed they ate "live meet", mostly Christian meat and "it is tasty, I enjoy it". I told them that is bad don't ever do that again. They said "no, no, it is good, we will continue doing that". Some time later the Gumuz Special Forces came to our community, gathered us in the middle of the town for no reason and they shot us. They were Gumuz Special forces, government forces. Fortunately the federal forces reached the region and saved us. When the federal Forces left the region afterwards, the Gumuz returned and destroyed our property and displaced us". Enatalem also claims that the local government forces are the ones providing the Gumuz militias with weapons and other military logistics. Enatalem adds: We are not represented in the government. Every position in each local government office is occupied by members of the Gumuz minority so we have no power even to claim our rights there. When we appealed to the higher Benishangul-Gumuz officials they told us to just leave our land and go live in your homeland. But we have no any other homeland we were born there, we are indigenous to that area but the higher Benishangul-Gumuz officials ordered us to evacuate from the Benishangul-Gumuz region as soon as possible or they would order their special forces to destroy our homes. The IMF has asked 🇪🇹 to remove the 13th month from its calendar. This suggests 1- The extent to which 🇪🇹 is under their influence following Abiy's agreement with them. Or 2- The news is fake & fabricated by the PP, which aims to erase anything related to 🇪🇹 n history.

@Hailekirkos I read his holiness’s book long time ago which is one of my favorite books. If I am not mistaken, his book’s title is “የኢትዮጵያ ቤተክርስቲያን ታሪክ". A highly recommended book!

The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church (EOTC) is at risk of being destroyed by the government of @AbiyAhmedAli, which is trying to establish Prosperity Gospel as the national religion. For the past 7 years, monasteries, worshippers, clergies, & the Synod have been under attack.

What was stated & shared here was true. The EOTC is in talks about paying 35% of its income to the gov of the Prosperity Gospel followers. Dear Orthodoxes, our fathers are falling short in several areas. We must design a strategy to preserve our religion. Stopping donations???
