US land data is quite the mess. Just in San Diego county, each city has its own system, two cities have nothing but scanned PDFs. Normalizing this data for a single county took over a month. Also lot of data sources are simply guarded, not available or data is not unified.

“Drain flies” per se are usually Phorid Flies. You can tell difference between this & fruit fly by two things: FF’s sit still & have red eyes. Phorid fly (same size) moves around like they’re on crack. If you have true phorid flies (drain flies, they are usually breeding down in the garbage disposal or drain. You can pour all the bleach and hot water down there you want and it still won’t solve the issue. Reason is: there is usually a layer of gunk (organic matter) that has built up in the drain or disposal. You either have to scrub it out with a wire brush or an easier option is to buy some type of enzyme gel cleaner like InVade Bio Drain Gel, which removes the gunk they are laying their eggs in. amzn.to/4wNTVtq

I try to be super disciplined on not being out in the field everyday if I don’t have to. If I have 5 days of work then I’m happy to be out 5 days. But I never want to spread 3 days worth of work across 5 days in the week. Having the days off allow me to go sell more and get other things done that I need to. I wasn’t planning on grinding tomorrow but a contractor had an “emergency stump.” At $600 for a small stump job we magically found the time to squeeze it in🤝

@TucksPadsForMen Pressure treated can look different. Some versions are very green. This is one of those. Roto hammered 1/2” holes and screwed them down with Titan bolts.

First layer of insulation in and MLV being installed. MLV = Mass Loaded Vinyl I got 20ft rolls that weighed 100lbs each. ~1.25lbs per square foot. After doing it I do not recommended installing it on a ceiling. It’s a massive pain in the ass.
