The fear of being cancelled is why many of you can't say the obvious concerning the Oshodi Isolo Rep matter. This man saw through the shenanigans months ago. An Igbo politician being the Rep for any constituency in Lagos only adds to the number of SE reps in the house & takes one away from the SW. What an Enugu man can't do in Anambra should not be a norm in Lagos, where SE folks have continued to migrate to enmasse without migration in the opposite direction. We can not have an internal colonization by people who refused to fix their own region. They should not contest.

💯, instead on self reflection we are blamming the messenger.. always giving excuses like we always do for our leaders.. why no pay global wages, why not train us.. why not this and that.. majority not all. They think street smartness does convert to technical skills. Call a bank customer care and see how they talk and response to u, like u beg them to pick ur call especially those @gtbank_help people

That Moniepoint CEO is just saying the truth To an average Nigerian, hookup and yahoo is more profitable than any skill The next thing a Nigerian look into if they can’t do hookup and yahoo is forex, crypto and sport betting The few people that learn digital skills have problems too Many of them didn’t learnt very well, just an idea and that’s it I have encountered graphic designers that I can use Canva to manipulate and create better designs I have met bang average video editors, ads manager, poster calling themselves social media managers Very few people learn a skill in Nigeria and learn it perfectly and to global standards In Nigeria, many companies are still outsource jobs to people in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh Another problem with Nigerians is pride. They are too big to work for certain amount of money They prefer to be jobless than to work a 100k job

“To The Moniepoint CEO Tosin Eniolorunda, That’s a Very Stupid And Myopic Statement You Made. A Big Shame On You. Can You Pay Nigerians Global Standard Rates Since You Want Nigerians To Provide Global Standard Work For You In Nigeria? Can You Pay Nigerians The Same Way The Chinese Government Pays Their People In China? The Harsh Environment, Harsh Policies, And Harsh Economy In Nigeria Is To Be Blamed For Nigerians’ Inefficiency, Not Nigerians Themselves.”

@Timidey4you This is INCORRECT. In the last multinational I worked for HERE in US, we had NIGERIANS and KENYANS who were recruited from NIGERIA and KENYA. I currently have Nigerians WHO LIVE in NIGERIA working on my Platform. We HIRED them from FIVERR. They posted their Resumes, we reviewed

Nigerians are just angry over nothing. Tosin never said we are useless; he said on a global standard, we are lacking. And it’s true! Ask any HR manager about the talent pool right now. Most candidates are just chasing the alert, not the excellence.

Lolz.. be looking for training ooo... academy is for kids like Messi and yamal when they started. Nobody carry a 24year old man to academy ...lolz . This so funny. There is graduate training also. But what are they training u on? Something u should have learnt from secondary skool.

@tukay85 @NigeriaStories Have you ever heard of academy? I don’t think you watch soccer 🫠 if you do, you will know most of the top players are from academy. If a company want highly skillful workers they carry out a program called “graduate training”

Bro you've said alot of things without saying nothing. Listen to urself alongside the point u re making. Excel and computer skill are taught in high school hands on in most countries. Now u re arguing that a graduate or advance degree holder dont need excel which is true in most field but not because they dont have the knowledge. But in a global stage where such minor skill come into play, then it becomes a gap. I don't know what else to say to u. All I advise is, since the education system failed in this regard, self learning online is a solution. You dont need to be a guru in excel, word or PowerPoint.. learn the basic. Most people that attend Nexford in Nigeria ask them, 1st 2 classes is basically (excel, word, Pp). Guess what when they graduate.. their chances of landing a job become a little more higher.

@tukay85 @TrendingEx Priorities. Priorities. If Basic excel was so up there, it means u didn't need a Masters degree holder. Recruiters often just throw in requirements like a kid making a santa wishlist. No intentionality to say "what does this role actually need?"

“I used to feel Nigerians are really bright. We have had over 500 vacancies since 2024, and we are still struggling to find Nigerians to fill those roles. They don’t meet global standards. I blame social media, yahoo & hook up culture..” ~ Moniepoint CEO, Tosin Eniolorunda says

Sir, interview is not a test of intelligence, is a test as to fitness. A soccer star Will fail an interview for a NFL placement. But you should not teach a soccer player how to lace a booth or jog a ball. U see the difference. Everything today is digita, Basic computer skill is a must.. and excel is of such

@tukay85 @docneto It's a money-centric society truly, but that point seems out of place in this discourse. People need money to pay bills. What else should they think of when they accept an employment? Worse still, Nigerian employers don't even offer any additional benefits, not even dignity.

@tukay85 @TrendingEx How do you expect someone who’s never been exployed to have hands on experience on how to use excel ,moreover there is something called graduate trainee ,I guess you know what that means ,you train people to the standard you want if they have potential and staff them afterward

Truth is , it not a knowledge contest.. it a simple skill set .. most person like me need to learn to be competitive in the global market. I know a lawyer , who after graduation learnt cyber security online and was employed straight from agege by an organization from UK in their security department, lemme keep the org name. So the point is not knowledge, its learning skills
