@Don_gbengah @solaadio This is exactly African problem I think we need to devalue Naira or erase zeros because why are you charging -98% for a service that uses imported materials which is obviously more expensive here.

NDC the supposed party that is for Nigerians is selling presidential form for sixty million naira; That's N60m for a party that is considered for everyday people. So you expect a candidate who pays N60m for just nomination form (minus campaigns), and will earn just N 1.5m as a sitting president to be credible. Be serious.

@Horiawlar @OlajideAlabi1 @Hybrid_Ola Oba Pupupu was the twin of Oba Oluaso of Oyo. She was sent out of Oyo because twin births were considered an abomination… so technically you are Oyo. Oyo Benin Ondo Generally have bias towards Oduduwa.

@Horiawlar @OlajideAlabi1 @Hybrid_Ola Archaeological evidence shows Ife was working with realistic bronze, copper-alloy, and terracotta art, when Oyo was still a settlement.

@Horiawlar @OlajideAlabi1 @Hybrid_Ola I guess my induction is right, Oyo has been trying to distort history for a long time, that is exactly how they got power, by converting gifts to tribute when the gifters were dead and the children no not history surrounding what was being sent to Oyo. Oyo empire is very young.

@Horiawlar @OlajideAlabi1 @Hybrid_Ola If my induction is correct I am 95% sure you are from Oyo. Some history are passed down orally infact most. Samuel Johnson is a great grandson of Alafin Abiodun so he has first hand account not from Ajayi Crowther.

This is not correct. Archelogical evidence are better objective proofs. Most of what we know as Yoruba history today was written by Ajayi Crowther at the Ibadan Printing Press in the 1800s. When you make research and check other books written by explorers between 1400s to 1700s, you'd see his narrative false apart. For example, we were never told, the current people in ife had to migrate there. They were in old uhe (closer to current day Okene) which was a spiritual city.

@Horiawlar @OlajideAlabi1 @Hybrid_Ola If ife is far more sophisticated as at when Oyo is still early settlement, it’s a proof that ile is older. This could suggest that Oyo might be a spinoff from Ife. You should read The History of the Yorubas by Samuel Johnson, that sounds more historically correct.

@Horiawlar @OlajideAlabi1 @Hybrid_Ola I have checked his book. I sensed bias in it. The people who have issues with Oduduwa being the father of yoruba are Oyo. Archaeological evidence might not be able to trace Oduduwa but Ife is far more developed as at the time of Oyo early settlement.

@Horiawlar @OlajideAlabi1 @Hybrid_Ola You are so ignorant and proud. Someone is telling you his history and you are saying it’s not true without saying what is true. Kurumi from Ijaye is an Aare of Oyo Empire. All know Yoruba are from Oduduwa.

@regido @tukay85 @NigeriaStories The university is not built to produce students who have proficient industrial skills, it is built to produce trainable graduates that can navigate smoothly to the world of work. It takes any normal graduate less than a month to fit in all the fields you mentioned.

@tukay85 @NigeriaStories Have you ever heard of academy? I don’t think you watch soccer 🫠 if you do, you will know most of the top players are from academy. If a company want highly skillful workers they carry out a program called “graduate training”

@NigeriaStories They focus more on soft skill.. that different from technical skill. You want a club to sign a soccer player that dont even know how to kick ball. So they can train him? Because he is a nice good looking guy?

You are very stupid. That is how Airpeace did a public recruitment looking for accountants to pay a 200k salary, and you expect my friend who is chattered to apply for that kind of job? There are qualified people. They are simply not applying because you want to pay them peanuts… So the unqualified ones flood the application portals.

It is technologically impossible for the Nigeria Democratic Congress website, as presently constituted, to register 10 million members in 24 hours. In fact, no single website in Africa has the capability to register 10 million distinct, data-intensive users within 24 hours. Registering that number of people in 24 hours requires extremely intensive server capacity, especially when processing biometric, biodata, or biographic information. Even ChatGPT took 40 days to register 10 million users. And X (formerly Twitter) has never registered 10 million new users in 24 hours. About the only website on Earth ever to reach 10 million registered users in 24 hours or less is Threads, and they only did so because it is owned by Meta (Facebook), which automatically integrated users who were already registered on Instagram and Facebook. Perhaps political parties can be more cautious in their claims if they want to be taken seriously by the public. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Gospeller.
