@nikkonikkoLTD I haven't dived super deep into the next fest but this is my favorite thing I've played so far. I can't wait for the full game.

@wondoefull As a controller player, I'm still shocked they never added an emote wheel to both let you equip more than 4 as well as free up the dpad for other functions. That seemed like a QOL layup to me.

If the Destiny community can have any impact on the continuation of the franchise, then I’d like my words to be heard, felt, and like they matter I genuinely feel like emotes in the game have had their quality gradually degraded. Namely Holographic Emotes - 🧵

@ClaireMax To me, it reads like he was a broken, withdrawn person before the dungeon, and he gets more of an opportunity to redefine himself as he goes on, but that could just be my attempt at head canon. I'm glad you kept with it and hope your enjoyment continues to grow.

I still have a lot of criticisms re: the characterization of Carl himself. I understand that he’s intended to be a self-insert for the reader, but I can’t project myself onto him at all. He has these moments where it seems like there’s a person in there, and they happen more as the books go on, but for the most part he feels like a cardboard cutout. I don’t know if that’s intentional or not.

@Haurmeya About that: I played 5 solo and co-op. I thought it was fine solo and was one of my favorite co-op experiences for years after. I played through multiple times with multiple people. So when I tell you I hated 6 so much I didn't finish it, and neither did any of my re5 partners...

I am begging people to understand that ideation is the last thing you want to outsource to the AI slop machine. GenAI does not produce original ideas; real, living artists do. Hire concept artists for your preproduction work.

@falloutplays I liked the final shape, but my frustration superceded my enjoyment in the episodes, and nothing I've seen since makes me miss it. For all the content creators and Bungie employees, I hope the game comes back to a good spot, but I don't know if I'm ever coming back.

I mean... yeah. But make no mistake - I wanna go back. REALLY badly, actually, and I know I'm not the only one. It's just, I've done all there is to do & there's no strong pull at the moment. I've enjoyed all the new content we were given (dungeon, exotic mission, etc) but I don't have a strong desire to keep running it all back; there's no carrot for me right now to chase. Both sides of the game (PvE & PvP) need a lot of attention, but unless they decide to shut the lights off, I'm hopeful. Feels like I haven't gone to my favorite restaurant in a while because I'm not vibing with the menu changes, and there's also a lot of GREAT new restaurants in town I wanna try out. But man, the right menu changes... I'll come runnin.

God of War Ragnarok has sold over 15 million copies and Spider-Man 2 has sold over 16 million copies, no sane person would classify these as unsuccessful. Sony is just greedy as shit and wants to hop on trends to obtain more revenue.
