@WokingfcReport I think Woking will definitely be ones to keep tabs on this season. Fingers crossed there's enough in the squad to achieve the objectives you'd like to see them achieve. It's a very tough league as you've mentioned though. Good luck for the season ahead!

So those are my expectations. To play nice football, improve in the league, and maximise the potential from our cup runs. If all three of those happen, I'll be more than satisfied come May 2027. I'm confident in our squad's abilities to reach these goals, so let's wait and see.

We have a dilemma for you, X, and we welcome views. Over the years, we have had players who don’t pay their subs (fees), and they are eventually moved on. However, we have a young player who’s in this position but they’re struggling. No fixed home, no parental support, no steady income. They’re down - and football is one of two things keeping them going. Unlike others who are unable/unwilling to pay their share, it feels like this one genuinely can’t right now. However, the club isn’t a charity and we balance things tightly to keep player payments affordable whilst making sure the club is secure. So - what do we do with this player? Do we move them on? Do we cover their costs from the club somehow, and how long for? Do we crowdfund? Let us know your thoughts.
