Congratulations to Arsenal Football Club for deservedly winning the 2025/26 English Premier League Title. This title should have been wrapped up a while back but perhaps the jitters of trying to win their first after a while kept biting them, very understandable. Finally they’ve seen it through - well done to them. Arsenal has the tightest defense (possibly across Europe), and most efficient style of football - result oriented. There was an awesome display of leadership both on and off the field, and a great use of squad depth across the season. Impressive stuff. Some of their football may have come under criticism for not being glamorous but when your goal is to win your first Championship in over 2 decades, style of play should be the least of your worries - just get over the line. I’ll also add that I think Declan Rice is very much the reason this team has been able to see it through. What a player! If he gets one or two personal accolades, I'd not be too begrudged. Why he doesn’t have the armband is beyond me. Gabriel & Saliba have been rocks at the back as has David Raya - the undoubted best keeper in the League. The resurgence of Kai Havertz & the timely return of Saka coupled with the contributions from Gyeokeres upfront, Trossard on the wing plus Eze & Zubimendi in the midfield were enough to guide them to victory. The rest of the team availed themselves & delivered whenever called upon - that’s proper team-work. Mikel Arteta had several questionable decisions enroute to winning but all that is just background noise because he has guided Arsenal to the win. I would go as far as naming him the manager of the season. If the hierarchy at Arsenal know what’s good for them they’ll do whatever it takes to give Arteta the resources he needs because this Arsenal team is capable of winning a few more trophies under that man. Once again, Congratulations to Arsenal Football Club and all its fans & supporters. Enjoy the Celebrations.

It is an honour to receive the Diamond Jubilee Medal from H.E. @KagutaMuseveni the President of Uganda. I dedicate this to my mother, may she rest in peace, who believed in education as a pathway to opportunity. I must also express gratitude towards my workmates with whom we have struggled for a decade to keep the promise alive, and to serve Uganda’s oil and gas sector, advancing EACOP, securing key agreements, and supporting the journey to First Oil. 🇺🇬

Congratulations, @SsekatawaAli. I was there when the headwinds were fiercest, when doubt was loud, pressure was real, and there were determined efforts to stop the project in its tracks. In those moments, I saw not just a professional, but a national soldier, steady, disciplined, and unwavering in service of Uganda’s long term interest. Thank you for your labour of love. This medal sits where it belongs.. with a gallant son of Uganda !
